Would you like to vote in our Short Story Competition Final? http://www.online-literature.com/for...33#post1185033 Many thanks. Scher
Yes, a martial artist, well, when I'm not busy writing my thesis. And though I may have disliked that particular poem, I will not necessarily dislike your other work. I'm just trying to be brutally honest with all the poems I comment on.
Lol I wasn't referring to the '&' with your poem Jeos since you didn't use it and I'll believe your statement about William Blake. I do have some of his poetry tucked away on my dusty bookcase. Yes I'm sagitarrius. Is that an issue?

Jeos, There are no rules to modern poetry so you didn't break any. You just happened to write a rather poor poem. Heaven knows what those on the other site saw in it to praise it so highly. H
- Well then, you should be more specific, regarding 1) - 'psychosomatic' being generally accepted as 'disorder', had you used 'test' instead, your explanation would have been clearer... - Your lady is not influenced by the symbol, but by what it represents; by the way I had no idea you spoke of a particular lady in your poem! plus, your triple Sss shows me you yourself seem to be intensely influenced by the Ssserpent... the good news is that in most traditions the serpent represents knowledge, healing, DNA, never ending growth! Be well, Jeos.
Great, thank you!!!!!
I'm full of respect for your search, of course, and do agree "there is an unwordly wisdom behind words and poetry might be the ideal vehicle to transmit it." I myself strive to achieve that mastery, rather an impossible dream for someone without a mother tongue. So my aspirations must be modest. Besides, I have so little time to write... Thanks for your messages! Have a great day!
Jeos, welcome on the Forum and on my thread. I'm honoured you have posted your poem with mine on this thread, but in order to get feedbacks and critiques from our friends here, the best idea is to post your poem in a separate thread. Just click on "New Thread" (you'll see it on the top of the Forum's thread list) and copy/paste your poem with your name and avatar next to it. As soon as you do, I'll write a comment and, I trust, other poets around will do the same, especially if you need help and encouragement (we all do). Welcome again here! good luck with your poetry and life! I'm also envious you can read Pessoa in original!!!! Best of all, Bar
confidentially pleased
