Thank you for the friendship request. I have really enjoyed your ongoing discussion of "Wuthering Heights". I think it's time for a re-read, especially as there is a new movie version of it coming out, and I want to see that, too.

Hello Kev, I regret to say I haven't. I have it on my (long term) list, so it's not on my shelf yet.

No, I haven't watched it, because we got home too late and my hubby wasn't interested (then we always get home late) , but I'll see when the repeat is. Seemed interesting. They did really push the boat out, so it seems, although it remains to be seen if you read the novel. I'll need to have a look.

I am a PhD student but nothing to do with English literature. I didn't entirely like Tess but aspects of it were interesting. Tess has probably been distracting me from what I should be doing.
