I am considering purging my paperback books a bit because now I have an iPod Touch and I could easily download the audiobooks or the text for free most likely. This way a novel I have read several times will still aways be available to me and I can free up some actual space - I direly need to.

I love castles and I actually collect many photos of them I find online. I would love to visit the actual "Hamlet" castle in Denmark. I have seen photos and read a lot about it. Mostly though my dream is to go to England and probably Scotland as well. Lots of cool castles there.

You are very welcome, jane. I like the dark red with the gray and the photos are very dramatic. So you have seen that version of Jane Eyre...I thought it was a great performance on both parts. I own it along with the version with Ciaran Hinds and Samantha Morton. I think it is a fine production as well, somewhat different than the other. I have seen the William Hurt production since my library owns it. I am not sure if they have the newer versions but it's possible. I will check next time I am there. I also read the prequel - Wide Saragasso Sea - interesting book and take on the dawn of the story. I have the Parker version of the book on DVD with Nathaniel Parker playing Rochester. It varies some from the book. The book is an interesting take on the pre-story. Not sure how the author would take having a prequel to her fine work though.

Hi Jane, and welcome to the site. I have accepted your friendship request; thanks for asking me. I haven't been on too much lately so surprised you even noticed me. Hope you enjoy being here on Litnet. Did you ever see the film version of JE with Timothy Dalton, Zelah Clarke. I really like it even though it's more in the style of a play. I have seen two other versions as well and read the book twice. I like your page very much...interesting imagery and tasteful colors.
