Hey Jack! Still knocking around... Busy being a corporate prostitute. I used to spend my nights writing poetry and short stories and miserably failing at writing a novel, but now I spend them writing up proposals and drawing up storyboards and filling in cells in XLS spreadsheets.

Like Odysseus, however, I will one day return to my Ithaca, having defeated the Cyclops and Circe and the Lotus Eaters and every other mother along the way. My dog will see me, wag its tail for the last time, and die. My Penelope will crack open a bottle of wine made from Ionian grapes and roll me a 30cm joint.

    Be well, friend!

My dear Jack, always good to hear from you!

Was it Bukowski that said a writer needs his misery? I think I've been too happy to write anything for a long time. Thankfully, that is coming to an end.
