I continue........ My recent poem has been written on an impulse. It speaks of various bondages a married man (or for that matter any married woman) may feel at any point of time. In India a marriage is an ever lasting phenomenon. There is a lot of social control and pressure on marital bonds. It is just a thought, may be sometimes, a marriage needs some kind of a breathing space. However, the musings are not anti-marriage. It is just a casual observation. We believe marriages are made in heaven. They are and at times they are not.

My age is 17. I just love writing and thought writing a short story. Got the script reviewed and many said that I had the talent and the story was good. So I am working keenly on it. What's your age? And am I doing too much for my age?

Your poetry certainly caught my attention. I really like it. Is English your first language?

Oh I see you are responding to people in your own page. The way these profile pages work is that I write to you on your page (and you will get a notice) and you respond to me on my page (and I will get a notice). Otherwise I would have to stop back to your page to see if you responded. Also, the "View Conversation" link on the lower right of each comment will take let you see the entire back and forth and make it easy to reply to the other person. Hope that helps.

Purslane Supreme Yellow

by angliholic on 08-26-2010 at 03:05 AM

My dear,
can you tell me why
purslane supreme yellow is in fullest bloom
as the sun in fullest swing?

My dear,
if you care to cast a glance,
your heart,
like a tightly-closed bud,
will start to unfurl like vibrant purslane
in passionate sunshine.

A Hermit Crab Carrying a Tower

by angliholic on 08-25-2010 at 12:02 AM

When very small,
I wondered
why you carried a tower
on your back
wherever you travelled.

Getting older,
I knew
it was your borrowed house
in a sandy beach
beside the ocean expanse.

it dawns on me
we are nothing but migrating birds
without a home
taking a seasonal journey.

It's Drizzling Again

by angliholic on 08-24-2010 at 12:02 PM
Itís drizzling again,
I'm thinking of you.

Your shoulder-length silky hair,
blowing in the air,
conjures up an autumn of falling leaves.

Romantic raindrops kiss you gently
on the dewy eyes,
rolling down the rosy cheeks
like pearls.

Poetic rain accompanies us
all the way home;
stepping on your misty shadow
in the falling leaves
I am drunk over and over again.

A Cat's Shedding Tears

by angliholic on 08-24-2010 at 03:25 AM

A cat is shedding
tears beside a dying mouse
at a young age
while the curtain is falling
on the stage.

In Manure, a Most Elegant Flower Grows

by angliholic on 08-22-2010 at 09:26 PM

Some wonder
in manure,
a most elegant flower grows.

Some snicker
without a hair,
a toad wears a pink rose on his head.
