I'm doing fine, thanks. But strangely I have also been plagued with three bouts of summer flu (having not had a cold for almost 8 years it's rather annoying).
The thought did cross my mind that you might be spreading your bugs on here - but I tend to think it's a similar problem to the one you mention with your church. We have a large influx of tourists during the summer from all corners of the world - a case of multi-germs possibly (and my resistance obviously can't cope).

It's good you're working in the library shop - and proving to be a successful salesperson. I think when you're in a job (no matter what job) you hear of other vacancies and make useful contacts for future reference. When you're sitting at home scanning the 'situations vacant' pages in the local newspaper you never find anything useful.
So, who knows? Better things may be juat around the corner - keep at it. And thanks for saying hello.

Good for you! My friends are concerned that I won't learn to drive until I'm 92, but I have the Penelope-type excuse that I have so many books to read before I get around to the measly driver's manual. Like you, it's not something I'm fascinated or thrilled by, but it's practical. I'm sure you'll be a good driver!
