Hi jadrianne--The avatar is a woman with sword, apparently named Walpurgis, in an illustration from a 13th century fighting manual. It's unclear whether the depiction is an historical figure or not. Yup, his name is Wesley, and he was a birthday gift from a friend. He's wearing a UC Berkeley shirt, which is where I went undergrad. In that picture, he's reading Harry Potter 6. In fact, Wes loves accompanying me on my reading adventures.

You don't look awful at all. You are just having a bad time, and that's it. I'm too having a bad time myself, but I want to believe we'll both be better after a while of suffering, since there have to be some good times coming. We'll get better. We have to get better, because the alternative is quite unacceptable
