Yeah, I know the feeling...I'm feeling rather broke and insecure lately; oddly enough, my sense of humor hasn't caught up, it's still smiling and joking around.

I dreamed last night that I had become very skinny from eating chocolate...it was so sad to wake up!

BEer does that too...wow...actually, I think benadryl does it. I'm giving up liquor for the moment; I keep getting bad headaches and stomach aches and feeling mad at the world all day...I'm doing chocolate...incredible stuff; I found this kind from Belgium.

Congratulations, have a beer for me too...of course, I hate beer except as a batter. I'm knocked out; worked a 13 hour day today.

I guess it's just like actors who wind up doing all sorts of great roles and everyone remembers them for some stupid movie when they were young. I sometimes find it embarrassing on the occasion that I meet someone from my past and they bring up something I'd rather forget.

Yeah, selling tickets can be a drag. Alot of the old bands from the '80s and '90s are getting the radio stations to play their stuff and then they give out alot of tickets as prizes on radio stations so that they can fill auditoriums. I don't really get going to a concert to see some 60 year old bald dude with dentures trying to sqawk out a few words from a song he no longer feels...they usually have backup ladies to fill in the notes they can't reach...pitiful

Mountain dew is quite popular here mixed with gin. I love some of the wine coolers, Smirnoff (I think that's the brand) has a wonderful passion fruit wine cooler. I'm staying clear of liquor for now; just doing lots of coffee and straight tea...of course, I'm not getting much sleep. How are things going otherwise?

I seem to recall when I was 17, I could drink a good deal of Strawberry Hill and not get drunk. I think my metabolism was faster then, or maybe I was too suspicious of the people I was drinking with. I don't think I ever got headaches from drinking the first 2 and a half decades of my life either; now, 4 ounces of liquor and I'm ruined the next day.

Thank you for the birthday wishes; of course, it would be cooler if we were partying together. When my stomach heals, I'll have a rum and coke for you!

I used to work at a donut shop; they would take the day old plain donuts, put a fancy topping on them and sell them for twice as much the next day...they went out of business after a while.
I sometimes wonder what happens to those of us who share your sentiment as we get older. Most of my friends in the '70's were against the corporate machine; but time changed them...a fear of being different, being alone. A person has to believe that they are doing the right thing even when no one else agrees.
