No they took his heart rate and said it was normal. No tests were done. I asked to have his nose corterised, but it had stopped bleeding for more than three hours that we were sitting there, so they wouldn't do it.

Oh hi Locks... Yes sorry, haven't chatted for a while. My son... He was quite ill for a while, gave us scare. Had flu for a week, didn't think much of it, just the average flu symptoms... But then he nosebleeds as often as 5 times a day in the bucket loads. Uncontrollable. Then he went limp and scared me, so I rushed him off to the hospital. But as we sat in the triage, he started to feel better and we were sent home. But gave us quite a scare.

Things are good. Have managed to squeeze in a couple of poems on-line between participating in the 'real world'.
Busy this week helping with a 'Centenary Celebration' of the birth of (famous) Scots poet Norman MacCaig who spent most of his holidays locally and was inspired to write much of his finest work by the surrounding hills and coast.
Off out in an hour or so and not expecting to be back this side of midnight. A three-hour walk along Glencanisp followed by a video presentation followed by a 'Poems, Peace and Pints' event in the local pub.
Who said poetry has to be boring??

Just fine. I'll be looking into literacy courses this week. Time to keep my mind busy... In dire need of some intellectual stimulation. Tired of hanging around the house. Might look into doing some casual work as well. Saving money to travel next year.
