Not at all. I've also come across your photography blog and it makes me wonder what kind of camera you use?

You mean 'addiction to mindless games?' hahah... I have been informed by Max that mindless games relieve stress...haha.. I think that is questionable since trying to keep up with all is stressful at times too.

Wonderful! So you have seen Branagh's full-length version of Hamlet. I am big Ken fan; but asside from that I do think it's the best version out there; althought, the BBC version starring a young Derek Jacobi trails it, only by a short distance. They are different, last more barebones and stagey; that's the BBC for you. Sir Derek appears in both films. Isn't that great? He's an amazing actor and good friend to Ken Branagh. If you are interested in more Branagh stuff, join our social group - name is 'Kenneth's Friends'. There is a lot of good information there about the actor/director, and his latest pursuits. Even though Hamlet is a favorite, I still think Ken's masterpiece film is Henry V; to me a perfect film!

    continued from last one......
It was interesting to see the same actor in the BBC version (all three plays); but in Henry V I felt it lacked the emotional impact that the Branagh version conveyed. I will probably view that later this week; one of my favorites. Ever seen it?

Yes, lately I have degenerated into the mindless game threads. It feels good to be doing something more worthwhile again, on this forum.

I know; I didn't imagine Hotspur like that either. In fact, in the BBC play series I am presently watching, Hotspur is more of a cocky firey youth and he wears quite 'plain' clothing compared to the others. He is afterall, a warrior type. I can't see him in court dress at all; in fact, in the court or council scene he was still wearing the same type clothing I believe. Now in Henry V of the series, I really had to laugh at all the elaborate brocade gowns the men wore. I even thought it a bit unreal when they went off to war wearing that garb. Wouldn't they go in normal comfortable clothing onboard ship? I like the Kenneth Branagh Henry V better even though somethings have been cut to make the play more assessable to the masses; it still is such a classic in my mind and I know others think it so as well.....continued to next one....

I thought I accepted your friend request. I am must be losing it. Anyway, just dropping by to welcome you to the forum and also to tell you I posted another photo from Henry IV done by the same artist as the one with Falstaff. I thought you might be interested. I just posted a long post in there as well. I hope you and the others can read it soon. I am pretty fired up about this discussion. It's been awhile now since I have been in a serious discussion so it's quite overdue. I am loving the play.

To whomever it may concern

by DanielBenoit on 12-15-2010 at 06:20 PM
It seems that I have been gone for a long time and in my laziness I wrote off a short and ambiguous post upon my return. Maybe it was just a little bit of smirky cleverness that I was so brief, it also had to do with my being busy that day. Well here's an explanation of where I've been:

Nowhere. My computer merely crashed on me Halloween night and I had to wait a few months before I could buy one. In the mean time I utilized my school's computer which blocked every-other website including

The mark of past tense verb
Tis' a scar that affects our life-line verse
And even the trite small-talk under blue skies.

When everything is under-sea
Painted with a white landscape
Of non-time, non-memory
Those moments we forget
Become the futures neglect.

So silent a lake-pond spring is
In the summer it is almost rancid
But in winter it is frozen deep into tedium
And atoms hibernate in stillness.

Interview and Reading List

by DanielBenoit on 08-30-2010 at 11:57 PM
Hello out there. Just figured I would say hello to the blogging world out there as I have been absent for quite some time.

I finally got a call back from a store I applied to and I'm getting an interview tomorrow. I'm nervous but confident, and most of all, I am looking forward to the $$

As of late I've been listening to quite a lot of music. Classical mostly. I have come across a truly transcendent epiphany in discovering the great Reinissance composer Gesualdo, thanks

Untitled Haiku

by DanielBenoit on 08-30-2010 at 10:08 PM
Late summer wheezing
A bike on a garden path
Sun soaked sweaty back.

Got a call for a
Job interview; tomorrow
Got hit by a car.

Hair needs some trimming.
For my job, my back, my days
Autumn better bless.
