It's kind of a bore, actually. Hopefully I finish it before I go to bed. Haha

I'm reading Trouilus and Cressida, Notes from the Underground and another novel from a local author for our bookreport in Humanities. Haha, multi-tasking is the only way to go! I got my schedule from Uni a couple of days ago and almost fainted; things are going to be quite hectic this September what with the final exams, term papers and such.

By the way, the photo of the staircase is from French photographer Henri Cartier - Bresson, whom Mr Gilliat have just recommended to me

Hey, goodluck on starting another term. Let me know if you need help, haha. Take care now, I gotta get back to my poetry analysis xx

Orson Welles does Shakespeare!! I must check this out. Thank you kindly for the link, I have already bookmarked it. I'm glad you're doing well. I hope Payten the babydoll is being an angel. When do you get back to your coursework?

By the way, I have started reading Notes from the Underground but getting disappointed by the page; I picked up an awful translator. This is a lesson for me.

    Hi Daniel, how are you?

Haha, I'm flattered. Btw, I'll be back. I'll just grab some lunch outside and return the film I rented the other day which was Capote. It was a 2005 film relating the story of American author Truman Capote's experience in writing the book In Cold Blood. It's brilliant. Philip Seymour-Hoffman played the title role and was really effective. It gained him an Oscar, too.
In Cold Blood is considered the most original non-fiction novel and he wrote it for like, 6 years. It was his last book.
Anyway, be right back! Before I die of starvation

Yes he did ! He's all "i'm daniel benoits 10 year old brother" how cute

Let me know how that experimental flick goes, you know how I'm interested in Nazi War Films.

T & C is coming along nicely for me. The language and plot definitely is different from the rest of the Bard's works and yet, still beautiful. By the way, yesterday I took my brother out to the museum and after that I purchased more books. I got Notes from the Underground and the Brothers Karmazov. Considering all my other purchases last week, we can conclude that I must be going mad. But I can't...resist...they were on sale

Thank you. I admit to having no background of the Illiad or any of Homer's epics but yeah, I should probably change that. Haha.
Anyway, your brother little DB sent me a message on facebook, introducing himself. What a charmer

To whomever it may concern

by DanielBenoit on 12-15-2010 at 06:20 PM
It seems that I have been gone for a long time and in my laziness I wrote off a short and ambiguous post upon my return. Maybe it was just a little bit of smirky cleverness that I was so brief, it also had to do with my being busy that day. Well here's an explanation of where I've been:

Nowhere. My computer merely crashed on me Halloween night and I had to wait a few months before I could buy one. In the mean time I utilized my school's computer which blocked every-other website including

The mark of past tense verb
Tis' a scar that affects our life-line verse
And even the trite small-talk under blue skies.

When everything is under-sea
Painted with a white landscape
Of non-time, non-memory
Those moments we forget
Become the futures neglect.

So silent a lake-pond spring is
In the summer it is almost rancid
But in winter it is frozen deep into tedium
And atoms hibernate in stillness.

Interview and Reading List

by DanielBenoit on 08-30-2010 at 11:57 PM
Hello out there. Just figured I would say hello to the blogging world out there as I have been absent for quite some time.

I finally got a call back from a store I applied to and I'm getting an interview tomorrow. I'm nervous but confident, and most of all, I am looking forward to the $$

As of late I've been listening to quite a lot of music. Classical mostly. I have come across a truly transcendent epiphany in discovering the great Reinissance composer Gesualdo, thanks

Untitled Haiku

by DanielBenoit on 08-30-2010 at 10:08 PM
Late summer wheezing
A bike on a garden path
Sun soaked sweaty back.

Got a call for a
Job interview; tomorrow
Got hit by a car.

Hair needs some trimming.
For my job, my back, my days
Autumn better bless.
