Yes you should post your work on this site, although i am sure you have heard of that other website that takes the poems and short stories from this one without giving the writer credit at all. So maybe put a byline at the bottom and a link to your page so that everybody will know you are the author.

Well i seem to get ideas anywhere i am at any time of day or night, and when i sit down to write i don't have a specific genre in mind, it's just however it comes out. To an extent, i believe that genres were just invented as a way of cataloguing books in libraries and bookstores because in most books and short stories and whatever else you can find a bit of something for everybody, wiith the exception of a few, of course.

Thanks so much for expressing interest in my story it always makes me happy to see a comment, good or bad (it proves at least that it was worth someones time). I feel the way it was written, especially the first line, made it seem more sinister, or that was the idea. The way George is so matter of fact about it and is okay with what he did because he gained from it.
Also i laboured over that last line to get it just the way i wanted and i am pleased to hear that you like it too.
