"Bangkok Benediction" is starting out swell. Liked the closing image of chapter 2. Reminds me of something my late sister-in-law used to say: "Men sweat. Women 'glisten.' " But your Thai ladies are cool as the proverbial cucumbers.
Loved your reply to Hawk's Shakespeare opus.
You are welcome Aunty. Regards Hill, let the bad blood settle, then I also trust he will be back. He is "family" after all. Best wishes M.
Thanks so much for reading the latest "anti"fiction. Really pleased that you took the last paragraph to be funny (which is what I'd hoped) rather than schmaltzy though there was a little of that, too. ( Not to draw a presumptuous comparison --'cause it's really not justified-- but the ending of A Handful of Dust is appalling, horrifying even. But on the other hand you really have to laugh.) Thanks again for taking the time to reading my "stuff." PS-- I hope Hill isn't really gone for good.
Thanks Auntie. Look forward to your reviews. After all, with Hill gone someone of your calibre has to take up the load. Best regards. M.
It's been a really rough couple weeks for your ol' Auntie, family-wise. Consequently I haven't been able to read as much as I'd like on the LitNet. Trying to catch up, and will happily enjoy your two latest offerings ASAP.
Dear MystyrMystyry. Best wishes for Christmas for you too. May 2012 be a fruitful and creative one. M.
Merry Christmas MANICHAEAN! I hope you have a great day - can't wait to read about it in story form!
Thanks H. I keep dragging up all the old memories from the Dark Continent. Thought it was a good time to get them all down in writing. Best wishes M.
Hi Man, I'm really enjoying your Mother Africa thread! Keep up the good work - H
