I’ve been away from the computer a lot this summer…once school starts again I’m sure I’ll be a regular! But yeah…I’ve been writing a bit, a couple of short stories and also some assignments that are due when school starts! I get these BIG bouts of writers block, and then its like someone flips a switch and I suddenly know exactly what to write…but just when I’m getting into it…I get writers block again :P

Sure, she published her diaries and Delta of Venus, a collection of short stories. Nin was French, but I think she wrote in English. You may find her trashy, but erotica is what she is known for. I remember really liking her and finding her life story really interesting. Glad to hear from you!

The quote you asked about is by Anise Nin an American writer of short stories and novels. She however was known for writing erotic literature. The quote does not seem to be from a book, but something she was quoted saying. I've read her when I was younger and can't say I didn't like her.
