Hey, Max, with the out-of-control imagination! Did you happen to grow up reading "Where the Wild Things Are" by Murray Sendak? I have a feeling they will spare you and you'll be around, as big a presense as ever, later on tonight. You are probably sleeping right now, exhausted, after dueling all night with those wild creatures!
I slept till four pm and it felt good Then I woke up when my neighbours were having a bit too much fun (the walls are really paper thin in this building...) and went for an hour's walk. After that I did the dishes and opened my computer and haven't even been able to do any of my homework... so not the most productive of days, I'd say But hey, it's just 8:30 pm, so the night is young. I'll have plenty of time for my homework... (if I just can make myself do it ) How has your day been?
Short hello and goodnight! Go to bed, you late night bum!
Yippee Now that I don't have to be worried about your safety anymore I can perhaps shut down the computer and get some sleep I'm terribly tired after workin on a translation a bit too late last night and then going to work in the morning. But hey, at least I got to earn some money to pay for all the books I bought yesterday...
Oh yeah, better to leave such tricks for cats who can actually perform them. Who would I be talking to if you went and tried something stupid and got killed in the process? And what would they write on your gravestone? "He thought he was a cat, but unfortunately he only had one life after all..." So please do me a favour and keep yourself alive
Well, practising with the instrument is kind of a workout for one's hands, so in that sense you're not that off the mark I, for example, have rather flexible fingers (while other than my hands I'm not flexible at all - I can barely reach my toes with my legs straight ), thanks to playing the piano for so many years and trying to reach for the octaves when I was just a small girl with tiny hands Hey, you don't even know whether I can really sing at all, you've never heard me. Surely you know that world is full of people who think they're amazing singers while they're really just tune-deaf. You only have to watch one episode of American Idol or some other show like that to see that. (Or suffer through a couple of karaoke performances... *shudder*)
I think it's entirely possible to learn to play no matter what the age, as long as there's enthusiasm. It might be slower than it would be for a child, but then again an adult often has more determination and better concentration than children do, so in that sense age might be an advantage Your guess was correct, I'm a soprano. I'm the one who always screams all the high notes no one else can reach I'm much better already, thank you very much My throat isn't very sore anymore and the fever went down too. I hope I'll be completely cured by Monday
I've never had any singing lessons, either, in that area I've mostly learned by myself. I've sang on different choirs since I was six years old, though (but there were several years during which I didn't really sing almost at all). I'm not very good with a guitar, I know some basic chords, but my fingers start to hurt after a while and my fingers just cant play a barre chord properly. I guess I'll just have to stick with the piano But even though I've been singing and playing music for most of my life, I only started listening to it in upper secondary school. Nowadays I can't go anywhere without my background music
You too, you sweet angel you! See you tomorrow....*waving*
I see you changed your mind! Now for me I just finished watching an old classic film and I could hardly stay awake for the finale. I think I am definitely heading for dreamland... Now, I don't believe a word of your comments on your looks or your voice; besides beauty is only skin deep, you know and even if one has some beauty, it also fades with age. You are probably just being too modest. However, a few cooking lessons would be nice, although I would prefer the guy who cleans up after eating; does Mom appreciate it? Have fun night cruising on Litnet! hahah...this little angel is heading for the comfy clouds of sleep!
