Hi Kking - the clue's in the name ('walker' rather than 'climber'!!)...

I'm still in the low hundreds - having been up every mountain in Wales above 2000 feet (that's about 120) - many of them more than once - plus about the same number in Scotland (but there's a lot more up here to keep me occupied). Also the ones up here are higher and a lot more remote so require a little more determination.

Glad you're enjoying browsing through the back pages - there's a lot of good stuff hidden away there.

Hey, thanks for tying in my 'hummingbird' line in the haiku thread!

BTW, I finished the seven books in the DT series. At times I didn't know what to make of it -- some of the writing was utter rubbish (though I do respect Mr.King), and other portions of the epic tale were so great that I'd read it all again in the future, ha ha.
