I've heard of that story! It's true, right? I know, even though it is sad what they had to go through it is sooo interesting!! Because there really was nothing like it, and there are just so many personal stories within it. I will absolutely read that book!
I was just reading your interests and the one about the Holocaust really grabbed my attention. I love it! i know it's a really sad point in history, but it was also such a fascinating point in history, I did a report on it for school
I'm glad u like my album It was taken near a city named "Saens Peña" It's a huge and beautiful farmland. I prefer farm animals but anyway, the sunflowers can be really atractive.
Hi angel! I don't have a favourite book, but the best ones I remember are "The idiot" (Dostoevskij), "The Little Prince" (Exupéry), "The Lord of the Rings" (Tolkien), Pippi Longstoking (Lindgren), some italian classics, the Harry Potter saga and some russian books such as "The Master and Margaret" (Bulgakov)... As you cas see, despite my age (I'm 23) I still love (I don't mean "I like", I mean "I LOVE") literature for younger people. Talking about "other" literature, I love reading essays on sociology and history, and at the moment history essays are the only kind of book I have the time to read, because I need them for my thesis. My favourite music... mmm... I listen to maaaany different kinds of music. In this period I'm listening to blues, jazz and rock. I usually listen to "commercial" music (the one the radio overplays, I don't know how you call this kind of music in English), rock and hard rock. I used to be a big fan of thrash metal, I still love Metallica. What about you? K
Hi Angel, thank you for the friendship request.

No I didn't see the inauguration as I avoid media induced bandwagons like the plague. As for The Sun also Rises, I noticed the same prediliction for eating, and especially drinking, that characterises the book. I am, however, reluctant to criticise it as I have discovered from this forum that it has parallels with T.S. Eliot's poem The Wasteland, which I haven't yet read. The descriptions of Paris are very good but I can't speak for Spain as I have only been to Seville and not Pamplona where a major part of the story is set. I have almost finished the book.
Thanks for the freiend request. Welcome to lit net Angel.
