  1. I need to wait until Christmas to see the next new Dr. Who episode. I am curious to find out if the Ponds will return as the companions. I hope so both of them are great with the Doctor.

Hey, Lancer. The Poe Thread's got a story going. We're reading through "The Premature Burial" (the title does give it away). The full text is fully available online: http://www.eastoftheweb.com/short-st...PremBuri.shtml

Thank you. Happy New Year to you, too.

I shouldn't have said that I would PM you at Christmastime! I didn't expect to be as busy as I was! I did a lot of cookie-baking this year (my mother wasn't up to it, of course) and I had a lot of other running around to do. I just ended up exhausted. But the holidays are over with. So I plan to get all caught up with everything over the next two weeks. At least I hope to do so.

Likes and Dislikes Music

Ok. Let’s talk likes and dislikes: Music.

On the music front, I prefer Adult Contemporary. I like some of the recent music, but most of it, I do not like.

I like the Easy Listening artists: Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond, Air Supply.

I have recently ventured into the Jazz section at the Walmart. I have liked Anita Baker for awhile. Last December, I found Diana Krall. I have completed collecting all of HER albums and will not begin working on getting the

I wasn't sure if a guy or a girl would post a picture with a girl's behind exposed like that.

Likes and Dislikes: Books

by LC_Lancer on 10-06-2008 at 01:50 PM
Let’s start on the literature front. I did not like reading at all until the ninth grade.
I can still remember the name of the book that I first read for pleasure, my friend who loaned the book to me, the classroom, my position in the classroom, the subject, and the teacher’s name on that fateful day.
After that day, I read everything I got my hands on. I could not get enough. I read newspapers, magazines, and books in the library I previously ignored. That is when I found John Norman,

The Pain from Cupid

by LC_Lancer on 10-01-2008 at 05:29 PM
I wrote this about a year and half ago. Please be honest.
The Pain from Cupid

The points of Cupid
Makes many stupid
Whether it is at night
Or in the bright daylight
Whether it feels right
Or just happens without delay.
It hurts deep inside for she may
Tell you she feels the same way
Or she might instead go away.
Time has no effect on the poisonous tips
Or the pain that caused the long night and hardships

Hey, wait a minute, I wrote a Blog

by LC_Lancer on 09-29-2008 at 03:06 PM
This is my one month anniversary with Literature Network Forums. I would like to begin this (my first blog ever) by saying it has been a real joy in my life to find a place that speaks about Literature with passion, conviction, and enthusiasm.

I have been on a few forums that called people names, threw insults, and spread lies if you did not agree with them. I have had some ‘heated’ discussions with some very intelligent members, but not once did they resort to name calling; although
