As I understand it, you are right, but we don't know whether that was due to genetic immunity or good luck. But there are people alive, so no epidemic has mown down everyone, yet.

You are assuming that such a mutation exist, and that is not certain. From history we know that there are people who recover from untreated pneumonic Plague, but they are quite rare. In recently documentated cases, the mortality rate approaches 100%, but there are so few cases that thee sample size does not give a decent profile of the population at large. It is also possible that some people simply do not contract the disease. Those people would not be counted as cases, so they wouldn't be in the mortality rate. There's only one way to know for sure.

I pobably could PM it to you, but I would have to send it by chapter, which would be O.K.

Yees, 00% is almost impossible. That's why I wrote that it approaches 100%.

O.K., let me know how to get it to you, and I will.

That would depend on what the mosquito was carrying

It's about reliable people and the decrease of the population of humans by more that two thirds. It is also about self-characterization. I have finished it,but I have been convinced that people would prefer to read about it, if it were setup differently.

O.K., then out it on the same level as a mosquito bite.

You haven't seen it yet. Just wait. Would you be interested in reading my horror novel after I finish the rewrite?

    Why not?

But I wasn't referring to plagues; I was referring to the Plague, especially Pneumonic Plague. Untreated, the mortality rate approaches 100%.

Yes, exactly. I was also giving an example of indirect self-characterization.

Unless the Earth, or its surface, were destroyed, as could happen with major solar flare, there would be humans remaining, maybe just a few but some. Personally, I expect that the Plague will hit soon.

Speak for yourself. We will see who will be left, and I'm planning on being one of those.

Actually, I think that the world would e a much nicer place with a total population under two billion. And I certainly will be one of those.

Yes, that's another example of how humans mess things up. Nearly all of the problems in the world are caused by humans. If we got rid of them, then the problems would also be gone.

Whatever. Complication usually is a result of too many things being tossed together, and we know what Occam said about that.

Stars

by Beautifull on 04-26-2012 at 03:52 AM
So, I've been having this...excerpt for lack of terms...hanging around on my computer. The idea for this started one night after I got out my last evening class last autumn. I was looking up at the stars as I waited for my ride, and bam! This story was born although I haven't completed it yet. I've posted it on the forums, but no replies at all.

I've called it Stars up until now because I didn't know what else to call it.

It was a quiet night. I sat back and looked

Hola!

by Beautifull on 04-18-2012 at 12:31 AM
Hey Guys.

How's everyone been? I was just realizing lately that I haven't been very active on LitNet. Not saying that LitNet's not fun or anything like that. It's just that I've been so busy with working on my art and my writing works that I haven't really been on any other sites.

I'm mostly on websites such as FictionPress and Wattpad these days. My username is Kyeire there. Mostly, I've been writing like crazy. Maybe one day I'll get the courage to post one of my

From A Stranger

by Beautifull on 10-25-2011 at 06:26 AM
Hearing from new and old,
laughing and sighing with friends,
until the stranger who's been AWOL
pops her head around the corner!

Yep. I'm a stranger! If you say nay, well, hey. I feel like one. It's been forever since I posted to my blog.

Well, what's new? Nothing really. Still going to school, of course with different courses(Statistics, English 102, Zumba, Tai Chi, and Mexican American History). Only thing different, I suppose is that I'm

The End of the Second Semester

by Beautifull on 05-11-2011 at 04:15 PM
Hey guys! I've almost finished my second semester in College. It has been very interesting, especially Psychology. Of course, learning about personality disorders always interested me(not), but I learned a lot of interesting facts in that class.
Sad to say, I had to drop my English class...and please do not ask why.
My Plane Trigonometry class was probably the easiest class on my list(and is the last Exam I have to take(which will be tomorrow)). It was a lot like Geometry(duh) and

Asian Entertainment

by Beautifull on 03-23-2011 at 11:53 AM
I do hope no one takes offense at wording it that way, but if there's one thing I'm addicted to, it is asian entertainment. I've spent countless hours staring at my Laptop's screen, reading manga after manga, watching anime after anime, watching asian drama after asian drama.
And as much as I've read/watched, there are only a few that stuck with me.
I'll list them here:
  • Absolute Favorite:You're Beautiful(hehe.Ironic) This is a korean Drama. About a nun-in-training who steps
