Well,'s not so much related as it is, codependent...ah, that's not the word...but I guess it will have to do. They work together in a sort of way...they are totally different and work two different ways, and yet, taste determines what yo like. Feeling determines how you feel about what you like...gosh, it took all that rambling to finally say what I was trying to say...

Yes. I can't change your mind, but neither can you change my mind. I still think that when you take interest in a specific tyoe of poem, or poet, it's called your taste...I think feelings can be affected depending on your taste of poetry!

Well, feelings are happy, sad, mad, anxious...those things.
Tastes are what you like and don't like. Good, bad, pretty, ugly...see what I'm saying?

Oh, I'm pretty sure he did partake in making this world a little better to live in, but I would apologize to him personally if her were alive, but when I read something, I really do imagine too vividly what the words say...which is good and bad.

    Okay, thank you!

Hey, can you read this, and tell me what you think? I'm toying with this idea, so I need sound feedback.

well then, for once in my lfe, I feel a little humorous. Than you.

    lol. touche. BUT!
what you were talking, I have to argue that that was not feelings, but tastes, and when I have a mix of tastes, I call them mixed tastes...what would you call it?

Well, then let's leave it a writer, but that doesn't change the fact that I can't read his works so good. I didn't like his dark sarcasm(or whatever you want to call it) in Civil Disobedience. Turned my stomach. Made me want to-->

lol. Really? What is so captivating about crating? Well, I don't think that would be called mixed feelings. I think you just have a different taste for different things. There are many styles and ways poetry can be written. You just have tastes for certain styles. I understand you now. I, opposed to you, love and welcome all poetry, although there is only one poet and writer I can't stand, and that's thoreau...for some reason, I don't even want to touch his works! that can be due to too much of him at school.

whoops...that was creating! haha! Well...I wonder how you have mixed feelings about it a neutral? As in you could live without it, but you don't hate it?

You don't like music? That's a if you don't like music, and you don't like you like drawing, crating...or is it just literature?

Really? Do you major in poetry? Or is it a hobby?

Improving Life in America

by PeterL on 01-20-2020 at 10:39 AM
Reduced and corrected version

Some people were commenting on the size of the military budget of the United States of America. I simply agreed that it is rather large, but I thought a little more about it and realized that the more than six hundred billion was less than $2000 per capita, and that’s not all that much, but it’s still more than I can afford. And it is also more than most Americans can afford, so, the country is adding more and more debt every year. If we were only wasting

To End Political Lies

by PeterL on 01-12-2020 at 04:08 PM
Has it become normal and ordinary for people who are demonstrably irrational or delusional or suffering from other types of mental illness to be treated as if they were sane?

From political puffery to conspiracy theories to quack medicine to deviant behavior becoming the norm mental abnormalities are becoming acceptable in general society. In a general sense this is not a new thing; people have been complaining about the lowering of standards of behavior for thousands of years, but

Rule of Law

by PeterL on 12-29-2019 at 04:06 PM
If you want a world of savagery where the law of the jungle is paramount, then is for you, but if you have an interest in living in a civil society with complicated interactions with other humans, then more laws are required.

There are some people who doubt the validity of Hobbes' Theory of Social Contract. They think that they want no government at all. There are places in the world where there is no effective government, no government other than criminal gangs; those are dangerous

Non-extinction of Neanderthals

by PeterL on 12-14-2019 at 09:08 PM
I have read many times that Neanderthals became extinct. That annoys me, because it is false. It may seem like a delicate piece of sophistry, but extinction is when a species, subspecies, or variety dies out, leaving no descendants. That is tied in with some people inaccurately referring to Neanderthals as a species; they are not a species separate from H. sapiens. This may seem like picking nits, but if we can get the details right, then we can better understand the whole picture.

High Crimes

by PeterL on 12-05-2019 at 04:58 PM
It has come to my attention that some people do not believe that Donald J. Trump has done anything for which he should be impeached, convicted, and thrown out of office. Maybe those people are confused by the phrase used in the Constitution for reasons for impeachment and conviction: “high crimes and misdemeanors”. That isn’t how it would be put these days, but high crimes means felonies or major crimes, but the term misdemeanor has not significantly changed over the years, and it still means lesser
