yep. I did. ketchup and mustard? really? I would think those things are bad for you, since most condiments usually are...oh! Cut it with water! Why didn't I think about that? That stuff is very very gross....oh the things women do to lose weight! I envy men and their fast-working metabolisms!

H.G. Wells, huh? Famous author. What is is about, this short story you're recommending?

Hey! Guess what? I lost about 8 to 10 pounds! I guess I just proved that I can lose it in less than a week. The trick I was taught was to drink a tablespoon or teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar. The stuff is awfully horrendous, but it absolutely worked.
I also dranka very big glass of water before eating...and of course...watched what I ate(this was the hardest part).

I think that is it! Going home and eating the food you miss...Yup. That's exactly how they gain it.

Yeah. Institutional food, although good, isn't usually what people crave...but it's a bad thing, my family spoiling me with good food, because it is very important for me to lose weight for my job. They will fire me if I keep gaining like this.

Hehe. How'd you know? That's very true. I swear, I'm going to be sleeping good this whole week....so much action! Almost makes me not want to go back on Friday.

Yes, very much. Spending time with the family. They really are spoiling me.

Yes. I'll be working on my paper, have my take-home test completed already, and I'll be studying for my Plane Trig test. But for most of the time, I'll be spending time out of town.

Well now...Isn't that true...Well now in the present, I've got a week off of school.

Ah yes.... another thing to worry about. Thanks.

Trump's Depression

by PeterL on 06-09-2019 at 01:52 PM
I was thinking about how the U.S. economy would go from the upswing that Trump takes credit for to the Even Greater Depression that his trade war will bring on.

Trump should be separated from the claims of strong economy, and he could be thrown out of office and not have a chance of re-election, and he may have undone himself with the additional tariffs. I wasn't expecting the stock market to tank for a considerable time, as it happened during the 1920's. I'm not the only one who

Minding Business

by PeterL on 05-25-2019 at 02:06 PM
I sometimes find myself wondering why someone isnít minding his or her own business. And I usually to do that, but The Valley Advocate got me to do otherwise. This preference hasnít shown up in my blog often, but blogs are for people to vent their opinions. The Feature Article in the paper was about physician assisted suicide, which is an excellent example of people taking responsibility for themselves. Then when I opened the paper the first heading I saw was an opinion piece about ďhealthy food

Edited History

by PeterL on 05-03-2019 at 04:00 PM
For some reason, earlier today I recalled a couple of events that have already been edited out of the history of the 21st century. Unfortunately, I do not have archival information about either event, so many people wonít believe that they happened. In the end, I found that these items havenít been deleted, just ignored and pushed out of the generally available record.

Neither item was widely reported when it happened, but there were reports online. The first one was when in the Summer

The Coming U.S. Debt Crisis

by PeterL on 04-15-2019 at 06:07 PM
Debtors love inflation. The more they owe, the more inflation they want. That is because inflated dollars cost less, so the debtors can repay the same nominal amount for a lower value. That works whether you are a real estate developer or the U.S.A. The U.S. Treasury and the Federal Reserve Bank have been encouraging high inflation for a long time, so that the Treasury can pay off bonds with cheaper dollars. If inflation is running at average rate of 2.68% per annum, thirty year bonds can be paid

Restoring Civility

by PeterL on 04-06-2019 at 07:19 PM
During most of my life so far I lived in rather safe areas, places where the general populace was well-behaved, and there was a local police force that was adequate. Unfortunately, the place where I presently live is becoming progressively less safe. Eight years ago, I moved back to Amherst; unfortunately, Amherst has gone from being a pleasant and friendly place to a place where people are in fear of violent crime, and with good reason, a significant part of the townís population has become unreliable,
