Becca, love all of your photos and albums. I will come back later to look more closely at the new one you added with the horses. I love horses. I like you floral photos very much and did comment on some of those.

Hey, TEX sounds like a great name for a horse! Give him a sugarcube from me, kay?

if you ever get the chance, do it. I wish I had pictures to post of that trip down the canyon. The last time my husband and I went horseback riding was a few years ago. For some reason when I ride my knees get so sore that when it is time to dismount, I can't. So this last time, I told the wrangler just leave me on the horse becuase my knees don't want to cooperate. I letrally could not get off the horse due to my knees. I was so embarrassed.

I have to admit I am quite envious of you that you get to ride and work with horses as your job. I love horses and love to ride. I like riding western rather than english. One year my husband and I took a mule ride down the grand canyon to the bottom, spent the night on the bottom and the enxt day rode back up the canyon. That experience was awesome!!!!!

I see that you've added some color to this. I like it. It is nice and bright! I enjoyed the pictures in your albums. I really like the "Some Photography" album. I am partial to floral ones, anyway. Flowers, for some reason, are the ones that I enjoy taking the most. But I really like the look of all of those. The kittens are just adorable, by the way!

Oh nice! I've ridden a few western horses before. They're so different from english horses. Sounds like quite the job, though!

That sounds like fun work! I've been riding for about ten years now. My horses are both show hunters. Thank you- I think they're both pretty good looking boys, myself haha. The chestnut is a 13year old 3/4 arab, 1/4 morgan gelding that I've been riding for 7 years now. The other is a 7 year old grade pony (I think there's some welsh, maybe some QH) that was only gelded when we got him a few months ago. What kinds of horses did you get to ride through work?

Oh, and yes, my horse is 3/4 Arab haha.

Do you really? That's pretty awesome! What do you do?

Sweet about the new horse, Becca! What are you going to name him?

I used to play music, but alas, no longer =(. Horses, baking, without needing said writing and reading, photography, sewing, Poptarts, heated discussions about nothing in particular, analyzing sleeptalk, sleeping, sleeping in, whining, being late...

Naked except for a cigarette, you let your mind drift and forget your disbelief. Feel the chill down your back and the flutter of wings through dandelion fields, and forget the pull of gravity in a night without stars.

I lack eloquence and commitment to my arguments. They are half baked, and I will begin passionately, and then abandon them.

Goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get married

Hello LitNet, it's been some time since I've posted here, but sometimes a girl's just gotta blog on a Friday morning.

Life has changed a lot since last time I was here. For one, I'm engaged. Sit back and let me tell you a tale.

My now fiance and I were out for oyster dinner and a bottle of wine, which we don't get to do very often as we're both too busy busting our butts working two jobs in the hopes of eventually owning our own business. I have a vision of an 50's

Golden Brown

by 1n50mn14 on 09-01-2011 at 07:57 PM
My playlist (inadvertently) has had a common theme for the past half hour. I've listened to:

Golden Brown: The Stranglers. (Yes, as heard in Snatch.)

Mr.Brownstone: Guns n'Roses

Comfortably Numb: Pink Floyd

Perfect Day- Lou Reed

Ok, so what's the common theme? This is a musical research project. Think of it as discovering the themes in Austen novels, but instead, you're discovering the common theme between

I am a faithful daily reader of Modblog on Always have been (more so when Shannon was still writing) always will be. Modblog's subject matter is body modification- tattoos, piercings, scarification, branding, stretching, suspensions, and more than (no offense) most of can (or want to) imagine.

Steve Haworth, a prominent artist who primarily deals with 3D implants, ear pointing, branding, and scarification just did a guest spot at a friend's shop in Guelph. There are two

Six weeks

by 1n50mn14 on 07-15-2011 at 07:10 PM
In six weeks, I'll be waking up in my two bedroom house in downtown Toronto, mere steps from Kensington Market and China Town and Trinity Bellwoods park, a few blocks from the myriad of awesomeness that is Queen St. West and a twenty minute bike ride from the St.Lawrence Market. Can't. Wait.

My cousin and I are living out childhood dreams and renting a house together in Toronto- it is a converted coach house (where they used to park the horse carriages in the early 20th century)

Oh hey, Dolly Parton.

by 1n50mn14 on 06-27-2011 at 01:21 PM
As I'm sitting here in my living room listening to Dolly Parton's cover of 'Stairway to Heaven' it appears some changes have happened in my life recently. But since when is Dolly Parton an epiphany? I'll be back soon, Lit-Net, to catch up on the blogs.

Stairway to heaven- surprisingly good.
