Speaking of bikes,
I saw this amazing, old 50's bike the other day. Cherry red. Looked so, so cool.
But i'm more of a walker.

Yeah really, for a month, that's pretty sweet. Ooh ooh! Bring the melt down TB! That will be fun! Yeah, I hope for your sake they keep Ted! It's so hard when you get attached. I was happy when I found out that Shadow swaps his leads on the flat because it means he would likely not be sold, as was the plan haha.

Yeah, you're so right about costs. As if trailering and coaching and all that essential stuff isn't expensive enough, I don't think any of my show clothes fit anymore. Luckily all my tack and horse equipment for Tobasco will fit Shadow, but I couldn't fit into my old show breeches in a million years. Ack.

Glad to hear it! And to be honest with you and fair to her, the girl who got on Casper is actually a very good rider and very good with difficult horses, I've just seen her get rough sometimes and I'm not a fan of that at all. But I'm glad you give me a little bit of credit haha

Yeah, I saw all the bottlenecking. We have one horse that gets really nervous when he's crowded by other horses and there was one spot where I could just see his whole body tense up. His rider just couldn't see around her because of all the dust. That's awesome about Ted though! Congrats, it looks like you've done really good work with him!

Haha yeah, as soon as I'm back in shape and figure out how much money I'll make this summer, I'll be out, though it may only be at our home shows because they're cheaper. But yeah, I'm feeling a definite itch to get back in the ring and Tobasco's not available so the pony it will hopefully be! Anyways, I'm sorry for the nasty impression you got of my barn. I hope you don't think that that's the norm because it certainly is not. I hope to see you around some more this summer!

Oh goodness I take no offense whatsoever. I agree with you completely, smacking him after doesn't get him there. She's a very passive rider like that though, and Tobasco will take advantage of that by pretending to be scared of the flowers. And yes, I do say pretend because he's been there a million times and likes to see what he can get away with. Oh well. Not gonna lie, I didn't even notice your leg haha we had a pile of riders in that ring and the dust was awful. He looks like he's really quiet though! He didn't seem fazed by the new ring or the other horses. Makes me miss the show ring sssoooo bad. I know a lot of crap goes on, but I LOVE it. Can't wait to get my pony out!

Aw but you guys were good in the eq flat!! I'm sorry I didn't get to see him go over fences! UGH Tobasco didn't even get through a full course today. I'm not going to lie, it was pretty frustrating. I could see he was backing off like, three strides out from the fence and the rider did nothing about it until he stopped, then she got mad. Seriously, NAIL HIS @$$ if you can feel he wants to stop! I haven't seen him like that in years

Haha, he'll be in the eq and the open I think, no juniors. But if I were you, I wouldn't be too concerned about competing against him. I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it up anymore though . Haha yeah, the barn and the area where all the trailers park is on one level of ground and then you have to go up the giant hill to get to the ring. And just to be a piss-off, the hose to get water is halfway up the hill. It's not too bad lol. If I don't see you/ talk to you before then, Good Luck!! I'm sure you'll do awesome!
