Hmm... uh, huh! I detect a tight knot between mum and daughter. Same here. The other day my mum took me shopping, to buy me some new clothes and shoes. I'm not very good for combining colours, assessing quality and whatnot, so I let her do that part of the job. What I do by myself is to judge the final equipment, what I can do, but where I'm really lost is with picking the individual parts. And now that I have a magnificent pair of new shoes I could kick some ghosts out of home... in case my house had any... which is not the case... my house is not even halfway noisy as yours, so I'll have to kick something else

See what we get for living in different continents? If we lived in the same place I would look after you for free... well... not so free... I would charge you with... A CHICKEN SALAD

The family likes Spain a lot. Relatives there by any chance?

Chicken salad... yummy, yummy... dish it out now! I'm hungry, feed me!

Oh sure, a great cast, a great story, and very touching. Try to get it.

Where has your family gone on vacation, if I may ask?

I'm doing more or less fine, and I'm beginning to wonder about that terrifying house of yours. Tell me, has it always been that way? Always noisy, or you're really sure it's your imagination?

Thank you so much. Your opinion is highly valuable for this humble... what would I be? ... a guy, a chap, a bird... Nah, I'm no bird! ... MY MOM WOULD SHOOT ME DEAD IF I AM

I am very satisfied with the ongoing events concerning that poll of mine. I inadvertently started a thread that has become a space for ladies to express their most intimate feelings about the way men treat them. I don't really know how in the world I came up with such a wondrous idea for a poll. It must have been the poll faerie speaking to me in dreams In any case, I am beginning to feel useful and it makes me happy

So your house is making noises, uh? hmm... you should check the closet... ghosts and related spirits often find their way through closets. And you should check under your bed too... and even in the fridge (they may be hungry) And perhaps it would be very wise to hire The Ghost Busters .... who's having an overactive imagination now?

I posted a poll two days ago "Ladies, what don't you like to be called by men?" and this is the link:

Would you be so kind to participate on my thread? I really want your opinion. Besides there are several worth-reading posts already there (it seems I've given some people a space to express their feelings ).

Home alone for two whole weeks? But... are you not afraid of the ghosts in your bed?

So you're doing the cooking, room cleaning and all? I'm not a good cook myself. In fact I'm not even a bad cook... because I've never cooked other than a fried egg and a cake (the latter only once and aided by my mom). Other than that I can clean a room, but I really need to learn some cooking, so my mom's legacy remains through me... ... I'm getting spiritual... ...

After you take care of your dwelling, go see Gangs of New York. It's a great movie about how the first Irish immigrants managed to survive in New York while dealing with the English descendants already established there. Starring Leo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis, Liam Neeson, Brendan Gleeson, Cameron Diaz and many other talented folks. Great story; violent, dramatic and romantic.

Poor Hermione! She's going from gray to black! She needs a boyfriend immediately, I mean I understand her wizardry-vocation but you just can't spend all your youth studying conjurings and fanciful spells. SHE NEEDS SOME FUN NOW!

So Ron has already grown enough for hooking up, uh? Who would have thought that? With that innocent face... THAT NAUGHTY LITTLE RASCAL!

You mean The Beach starring Leo DiCaprio? Yup, I've seen it, though it was some time ago and I have forgotten a bit of it. Anyways I've seen most of Leo's films. Ever seen Gangs of New York, Catch Me If You Can, and Blood Diamond?

If poetry implements poetic license then films implement plot license (to give it a name). It always happens, like with The Lord of the Rings. Films are not supposed to be really accurate. Remember the final credits "... the story and characters have been adapted to fit dramatization purposes" ... or something alike

Some movies get a tear out of my lachrymals but I wouldn't freely weep in public. It would be embarrassing and I'm so shy and introverted ...

I admit I'm way behind with Harry Potter. I need an immediate upgrade.
Can you gimme a lil tip on what happens between Harry and Hermione in this one?

I actually found myself being the only one sending greetings, and everyone else was surprised given the fact that none of them ever heard of such holiday. However, many have told me how stressed they were by their monotonous activities and how I came up to make their days... so I'm happy... I gave a li'l relief to some stressed people

Have you watched the latest Harry Potter film already? If so, how was it?

I did see them, I am a big fan of Fitzy W ...
They'd better be innocent... or I'll be jealous...

Oh yes, we have some puritans here pretending they never ever sinned in their whole lives . We should have a videotaped record of their sinful deeds, so we can use it as crucial irrefutable evidence against them every time they seem displeased ...

Never ever heard of it? Is there no particular day to celebrate friendship in the UK? I thought it was something worldwide spread, though on different days of the year. I understand the international friendship day is the first Sunday of August... or it used to be... not really sure if it still is, because every now and then there appears some initiative trying to shift the day for some special reason

Move over, Ludwig! Make space for the new generation!

Okay... two Lit Net friends talking about Some like it hot... I'll see if I can find it.

Don't forget to upload your pics. I want to see how cute my friend Fitzy looked at that party

Today, as usual, I helped my mom in the kitchen, and she's very proud of what a wonderful son she has! ... After that, she made me look for an investigation on a football player with a big scar running from throat to navel, with an apparently abnormal performance in the field. My theory is that they put an evil futuristic device inside the guy and he'll be waging a war against humanity... when he ends up his football career! It'll be the end of life as we know it, by terminators disguised as rebel football players! ... (I must be out of my mind )

Today's Friend's Day in my country. I understand it's not in the UK, though I may be wrong (am I?). Anyways, Happy Friend's Day.

So, I've had a long time to think about it...
and it's been decided that my story, Amor a Primera Vista, is to be completely reworked.

...with the ending FINALLY added.

Shan't be too long.

"Amor a Primera Vista" (6/7)

Change of plan folks. There will now be 7 parts to the story. This was so difficult to write; I hope it doesn't disappoint you.

The light streamed through the gap of the curtains, and greeted me as I awakened. I proceeded into the bathroom, where I inspected the newly formed freckles on my tanned nose, before cleaning my teeth and washing. I selected my clothing, and coated my skin in lotion that smelled just like coconut. Carefully placing the blue flower slide into my hair (which

"Amor a Primera Vista" (5)

It's the penultimate instalment everyone.

The night had ended for most people; only a small group of Spanish men in their sixties lingered behind, drinking liquors and smoking cigars. There were a small number of waiters and waitresses dotted about the terrace collecting glasses and wiping down the tables.

I walked through the clear glass doors and saw him sat on the stage by the balcony, looking out onto the bay with his phone in hand. I walked slowly across

"Amor a Primera Vista" (4)

So, this is part 4 out of a possible 6 parts. Apologies, as it's most likely riddled with mistakes - but it is(was) 2.35am.

He would leave the next day. I can't say I was fazed much by this prospect; if anything, it was quite a relief... like a heavy weight lifted from my conscience. Despite remaining so decided that the next 24 hours would pass with no emotional complications, the eve prior to his departure was still strange to me - I just couldn't identify this change in atmosphere.

"Amor a Primera Vista" (3)

So I mentioned I had approximately 2/3 of it written down on paper. I have now finished transferring it onto the computer. I will be working on the last part this weekend, but I imagine it will be quite difficult. Enjoy.

“One kiss...please?” he uttered with that low, husky voice and hypnotic stare. I observed his mouth as he spoke; it was so small, but so gentle.
“I can’t...” I whispered, my breath was heavy - as was my heart.
“Just 2 seconds. Close your eyes.”
