I really don't know too much about Dostevsky but it sounds like a good idea. If I can help I'll try.

Hey! Yeah, I've been out of the country and just haven't had time to keep track with everything. Barely able to keep track of my tooth brush! Haha, how have you been?

I had to write this in two parts - seems now we are restricted with so many words....this is next part...

I am glad you were a 'lazy' eye in the summer months. We all need that bit of relief from studies. Right now I am feeling lazy myself as far as computer is concerned. I want to just watch movies and relax at night. Was your summer interesting? Go any place fun?

So far our summer here has been uneventful because nearly every day up until now it has rained. I have never seen this much rain in the beginning of the summer. I thought I might need a boat!

    Take care, eye!

Hello eye, sorry I took so long to answer this second message. I don't envy you with that heavy school schedule and all that work. I didn't much like school myself until I got to art college; that was more on my wave-length. I am sure you will persist and get through it all; it does sound more difficult in your school. The standards must be high. We never had to write a thesis. Are you in univeristy? Virgil knows something about thesis. He wrote his on one aspect of D.H.Lawrence's writing. I am sure he can be of great help.

About title? I don't know, I hate those stuff! Trying to create something smart instead of simple...
Comparing with Tolstoy doesn't have to result with something good; in my opinion. Dostoevsky based his works on individuals, and Tolstoy based it more on society with brilliant description of some individuals and how society impacts on them and their actions.
I would go for biography-work combination because of so much already known relations and also because his characterizations are much better then Tolstoy's, so it would maybe look to easy or simple. But that's just my opinion; again.

    You're welcome!

    Hey!

That's great topic! You can write a lot about that. For example - The House of the Dead is about his life in Siberia, Idiot is pretty much about his life in Switzerland (it was book of the month last September or December, I added some biographical facts there; check it if you like), The Gambler is his personal experience from time when he had major problems with penniless because of gambling (obviously ), The Possessed is about his political beliefs and ideas toward communism and nihilsm, TBK is his major work concerning his great Christianism and belief in God in older days of his life (and much more), Crime and Punishment is about ''great men'' (ubermensch is term in philosophy) with Christian salvation at the end...and so on
''Manifestation of life happenings on works of Dostoevsky'' or something like that...

Feel free to ask me anything, I'll be glad to help.
Except one thing - from Monday 6th July till 16th August(or something like that) I am on vacation and I am without internet there Hope that's not very disturbing!

    See you soon;

    Baz

Wrapping up

by eyemaker on 03-16-2010 at 05:25 AM
The semester is almost over and things are getting a lot better in my part. Papers are done and so is my research paper in its half-way. If I think of all the things that we have been through this sem, I would probably end up dozed-off (more than I have ever imagined). A lot of things came up that made me a little more skinny than my usual structure-and as pale as a sick patient. Counting on on what have we done. . . Poetry Hour (poetry presentation) where we presented Hawaiian poems, World Poetry

The Yawn Explained: It Cools Your Brain
Jennifer Viegas, Discovery News

Dec. 15, 2008 -- If your head is overheated, there's a good chance you'll yawn soon, according to a new study that found the primary purpose of yawning is to control brain temperature.
