When your head is clear, you are light
as a feather; no burdens and no controls.
It's all inside the head, a peace and a disorder,
the heaven and the hell, and a saviour and a killer.
Pills merely cannot save you from falling into a pit
of your own fears, when they rebound constantly.
Life puts on the color the way you respond to it,
and you know that you can be a soulmate or a foe to yourself.
In a tumultuous time, you get to know
A sudden conscience, a lucid picture,
awakens the eyes from your slumber.
Sometimes, you learn the things in a hard way,
being a friend, from the stranger, to yourself.
When you understand yourself, you are free,
and when you learn to unlearn, you are at peace.
Nothing can change you, until you believe yourself,
and until you let the hand of time to portray your picture.
Good and bad are all perspective, relative,
when you know
Youth lives a life of flower,
that stays for a while and disappears.
You wonder why you have to keep trying
to run all the time, just to move on?
Why don't you slow it down a bit to mend
the broken pieces of your own life?
You pray and take a shelter for a rebirth,
to see the world in different perspectives.
The bleak sky rains, you wait for a change,
and your soul tries to befriend your body again.
There comes a time when one stops restraining
the avalanches of thoughts, and stops hiding
the skin that slowly dies and exfoliates, and rejuvenates
again, to wait and discover an another cycle of life.
One stops for a while just to take care of one's garden,
to bloom flowers for the coming spring, and to thank god
for whatever one still has got, at the moment, forgetting
the things that fell and shattered in the storm that passed.
A grotesque reflection in the broken mirror,
And a cynical atheist lost in the riddle.
As the contagious mind formulates filth,
The cancer of thoughts creates a labyrinth.
Live a life projecting the present in the silver screen,
Or live it with imaginations of memories, dreams and films?
It's a fragile life that falls like a domino.
One system fails and all others fall in the row.
The blues when the world stands but remains silent still,
