How are you? I've just found out that you are a freelance translator. I studied Translation and Interpreting in English in Turkey and now work as a teacher and a freelancer as well. I hope you write back. Talk to you soon
PS: Your message storage is full, so I had to write here
Would you consider voting in the "Don't know much about history" poetry contest? Many thanks!
Hi Kiki, would you consider voting?
Ah, the chilly weather of the good old continent, what an envy!
At this time of year we are very much like
I perceive the working world as much of and very little of So better watch out .....
And friendship is so very much like and also but also as well .....
Would you like to vote in our Short Story Competition Final?
That's the plan but I can't say when. I'm totally busy with academic and family duties, so I find it hard to think about it in detail At the moment I only have some rough ideas about the plot, but nothing absolutely conclusive If I succeed I'll let you know
And thanks for the friendship request!
Thank you very much for your reply, kiki! You've been really helpful I want to write a story and some of its phrases look better in German
Hi kiki! I hope you've been fine!
Sorry to bother, but since you know German I think you may help me on this little thing. I'd like to know which article I should place before verdammten Pfeile and Sturmvögel. I suspect it should be die but I'm not sure. Thanks beforehand!
Hi Kiki, have you read any of Elizabeth Gaskell's books? I am thinking about putting North and South on my reading list.
Are you watching Parade's End? It seems like your sort of thing. The BBC have really pushed the boat out. It has Benedict Cumberbatch and Rebecca Hall in the cast and was adapted by Tom Stoppard from a Ford Madox Ford novel. I have never heard of the book before, but I have read it described as a neglected classic.
