Hi Ampoule, not sure if you're around much anymore, but I have been looking at old poetry, yours is usually really great. And, I just saw your Good Earth thread - thank you so much for that! Over the last year or so I've come to believe it's far more important than anything else. . .
  2. Thank you, qimissung, I am. I was checking it out the other day. I'll try to send something soon. AMP

The fella in question posted something not too long ago, maybe a week or two. I don't have his address. You know who might? Bar. Send her a quick PM.
Good to see you back among the ranks of LitNutters, some of whom are pretty rank-- present company excepted of course. I'll read your latest soon. It's very late and I have to get off the expletive deleted PC.

Where is AntiQ?

by ampoule on 06-26-2008 at 06:11 PM
I wanted to see if she commented on my silly reply. Maybe I just didn't look far enough. Hope she's not gone. I thought she wrote some things of great value to us. Of course, I think anything anyone says has some value.

Happy Birthday Billy Butler

by ampoule on 06-13-2008 at 06:42 AM
Yes, it's the birthday of William Butler Yeats, born in Sandymount, Ireland, in 1865. He loved Ireland, was somewhat devastated when his father moved the family to London, which he hated. There were also tornado warnings and the sirens were blaring all around. I actually got out of bed and put my clothes back on and went out on the front porch to see what I could see, but too many trees whipping around, so nothing. I went upstairs and watched out my west window and looked for tornadoes everytime
