Thank you much Fire. Why don't you put your comments right into my blog? But whichever you wish is fine with me.

Wow Fire, I just noticed you aren't on my friends list. I would have bet you were. Well, I just sent you a request.

I'm never sure if I should post poems on the boards any more. I would like your thoughts on my poem that I entered in the Autumn Poetry contest. I posted it in as a blog, here: http://www.online-literature.com/forums/blog.php?b=9173.

Ecstasy was one of the first poems I read, and it still gives me the shivers. I love the way it builds and builds to that final release. She is very effective. My library has quite a number of her books - they definiely have the Wellspring. I'll have to loan that one, and any others they might have.
I'm publishing bits and bobs here and there. The recession has really hit the small presses and quite a number of the poetry magazines have had to close down, which is sad because there are so few outlets for poetry these days. The web is fine, but it's so vast and you can't guarantee the quality that a good editor will bring to fore. Plus I haven't been writing much poetry, I've been more focussed on prose and for some reason I can't write both. The brain just doesn't work that way.
How are things with you firefangled? You haven't been around much recently.

Hi firefangled it's good to see you around and thanks for your comments on 'The Dream and its Dreaming'. I didn't know Sharon Olds had a new book out, is it good? I'll have to see if they have it in my library (trying to curb the book buying habit, and failing!). I hear that Louise Gluck has a new collection out, though it won't be published in the UK until February next year. Have you come across it at all?

Dear sir, I salute your patience and calm wits. I've tried a lot with Inez myself, but I guess I wasn't good enough. I've been busy the last few months with personal matters sadly, and I stopped posting any updates regarding that issue with Arab Dreams. I'm glad someone picked up the matter and worked successfully into finding promising results.
Sir, you have an ever lasting friend in me =3

LOL... I wouldn't want to go head-to-head or toe-to-toe with you in a fight that's for sure. I did get on the site though so, I hope you are right! I can still get on... just not into the forums and I can't get on with my "bookmark" into the forums. I had to enter the address which let me into the home page. I could click on and get into anything but the forums. Let's hope that is because they are working on those!!!!

Biggest hugs for your wonderful tenacity!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. The current message at http://www.3rbdream.net indicates the site is down. When it was taken down before to remove my poems, the same message was used and Burst told me it was down.

Hi firefangled... unfortunately, the Arab site is not down. I got in using this address
http://www.3rbdream.net but was blocked when I tried to click on the forums so, I can't tell if they've taken the poems down. Grrrr (and thanks for all your work on this)

Firefangled, you will be very much missed. Seeing here on your page that your stepfather died - I am so, so sorry. And now this arabic site business ... I hope things start looking up for you. I hope, even though you go, you'll continue to write! (I'm sure you will though) Your poetry is some of the most beautiful I've read - on and off Litnet. It was, in fact, what first attracted me to the poetry threads.

If I don't see you around here anymore -

Take care, and may all your days be filled with vibrant, soul-fangled poetry.
