  3. I've just seen that you've posted a few offerings. Too tired to do them justice now but I'll give them a good look tomorrow. Send you a sit rep soon. Pip pip H
  4. Hi Auntie. Long time no squeak. Horribly busy at the mo. Just a quick note to wish you happy holidays for Thanksgiving. Just had a slap up dinner courtesy of a couple of American student on the creative writing module. A good time had by one and all. Still, it's very depressing that I'm old enough to be everyone's dad! Hope all's well with you and yours. All the best... Your ol pal Hawky
  5. It's the butterfly effect. The cockroach is the star! The sole survivor lol
  6. Hi Auntie. Stranger than fiction! Yes, I understood that you weren't actually going for a three act structure, but the old course I'm on has been keeping structure of narrative very firmly in my mind of late. By the way, I was serious about wanting to steal your idea. I even jotted down a rough outline for my potential screenplay. One of the features was that my disaffected "falling down" sort of chap would actually be waylaid by a secret service op who would shoot him. The bullet would have passed right through the poor hobo and killed the president, thus sparking off a nuclear war! What was really surprising, was, that not half an hour ago, I watched a documentary on the assassination of JFK where it was revealed that the fatal shot was accidentally discharged from an assault rifle carried by a secret service agent in the following car! Whether it's true or not, it's a great story!

Live long and prosper - H

Dear Aunt, thank you for your message. Regarding my novel: I'll probably go back to school, learn engineering, and build a bridge over the British Channel before I finish it. But otherwise well. Hip all better?

Hi Auntie! Sorry for not replying sooner - I hope you did not think I was being rude, it's just that I've barely been in the house these last few days. Thank you so much for your feedback on my story - as ever, your comments were insightful and considerate.
