hey, a somewhere is a WWI literature thread ( actually 2 or three) but if you havent read it already I just want to reccomend Michael by E.F.Benson, its not on the litnet but it is availabkle free from the online books page!
It really helped me when I was studying WWI literature as an illustration of the shifting attitude towards the war between 1914 and 1918
Cool now we just need something to debate that won't light the blue touch paper at Lit-net. Hmm. That one could be tough!
Sorry. At least I know now.
Glad to be your friend Kandy. Hey, just a question, are you a guy or a girl? I always thought you were a girl but that picture in your profile looks like a guy.
I am fun!
Hey kandaurov - I've just been reading your comments in the incest thread. Interesting. I'm impressed by your open-mindedness and willingness to debate a subject even though you may not agree with it, your willingness to see both sides so to speak. I liked what you had to say about indoctrination too, lots of people don't see beyond their conditioning and look at subjects objectively. But you do, and I respect that. Anyway, just wanted to say if you ever want an open minded debate, regardless of the subject, please count me in. Please
Kand, I wasn't fighting with you. But it is a yucky subject and you're ritght now worth discussing. Hey thanks for the compliment. You're a nice person.
Hey! thanks very much Kand. You were right today wasnt so bad (i should thank thor ), but i'm still hurt by it. Poeple will never stop to amaze me. But i knew she was saying things behind my back but i had really only been suspicious of it. Now i know i was right and to the extent of it... well lets not dwell eh?
And non practicing misanthrope is a good one!
Reality bites... maybe i should change mine to that.
Yeah it is weird, looking at yourself while you.. draw yourself.
It's like looking at a stranger, in a way. Or your best friend. If that makes sense.
Have a good sleep.
Never drawn a self portrait, no.
