Oh, I'm so glad you found and like it! How is your French? Would you like me to send you a translation - or you can google it. I LOVE to sing this song and the lines

just break mu heart. But then, maybe because I'm a Jew, I'm a sucker for any song about yearning. Did you know that Israel's national anthem, Hatikvah (The Hope) which speaks of the yearning to return to one's homeland existed long before the establishment of the state of Israel!
