As I understand it, unless someone attacks the mailman with a club, we're good to go!
By the way, the themes are carribean, christmas, scary and roman/greekish antiquity, and if we don't come dressed up, we'll be equipped with 'humourous accesories'... Put your thinking cap on untill Sunday yeah

Hey Beth, maybe we can meet in the weekend sometime? I'm off from Friday to Sunday, just studying for exams. We've all been invited to a party in the evening on the 2nd of May, it's a crazy hybrid costume party, with four themes, so we have to pick one, or several, and make some costumes, for our third participant too You game?

Hey Beth, when are we hanging out after you come home? I can't after all on Tuesday, but other than Karate on Thursday, I should be free. Looking forward to seeing you!

  7. Oh, silly sub, I did not want to spoil any surprises, but I have a lot of difficulty containing my excitement, too. I cannot describe it!
The only thing I do not look forward to on my trip? A 10-hour flight to Amsterdam, where I have a layover! I have trouble holding still for 10 minutes - how will I manage 10 hours?!

Allright! I'll think of somewhere great nearby

Nasi goreng, and maybe midnight snack indomie after chatting, will be waiting when you return of course. When are you leaving again, and will you have time for me to drop by Thursday? I'll be in town for a group meeting, and I've got a Lonely Planet here that you can take with you if you still need it. I can even drop by and put it in your mailbox if you aren't home
  10. Well, very well, these days; seething with jealousy a bit, however, about you and Sunny. Like I said, I intend on doing a bit of traveling soon . . .
I have a bunch of days off from work currently, and the weather has taken a turn for the best here, so planning on doing a bit of hiking soon - otherwise, same old, same old - working, writing, etc., etc. No wonder the word 'monotonous' contains the prefix 'mono,' eh?

My butt...

by subterranean on 02-19-2009 at 10:41 AM
hurts!

I'm taking a week off from work and for the last few days, I've been spending my time at my couch reading and litenetting. I think I've spent 10 to 12 hours in average per day. In a way, it's been great. In my regular days, work dominates my entire day. Sometimes I spent more than 10 hours at work, went home, cooked dinner (sometime), watched a little news, read an hour and two (if I still had the energy), then went to sleep. When I'm out traveling, the days were worst but

Polly Pocket

by subterranean on 01-23-2009 at 04:27 PM
The English lads whom I worked with for couple of weeks gave me a nick name: Polly Pocket!

Reasons
1. Because they think I'm cute  (so they said, but I guess it's just so that I'll help him more hehehe)...
2. Because I'm small. Every time they talked about my height, they always talked as if I were the smallest girl on planet earth ...But I think there are smaller females than me.

It's funny that some nick names don't even related

Soup van

by subterranean on 01-21-2009 at 04:25 PM
When I was in New York, I had this chance to ride with the soup van. You know, that sort of van that drives around the city, distributing free food to homeless and poor.

That night the van I was in served the Bronx. I was in town for more than a week, but never been to that area. We passed the bridge, I saw the big bright stadium. I heard alot about Bronx, not really nice ones. When I saw that stadium, I thought the area couldn't be that bad. Well, I supppose the stadium was the
