Hey, Bazarov. I have not heard from you in eons! How have you been? I am thinking about re-entering the forum to do some discussions.

    Barca!!!

    What are you reading now?
  6. What you said in the 'Do you consider a book based on its popularity?' thread:
"No, never. Only advice from 50 members per book from this forum can make me read something else except my strange choices. Actually, book that need a commercial is no book at all.

P.S. Even mentioning Dan Brown on this forum is a blasphemy."

Amen! Well said in such few words, friend!

Moby Dick was a decent read, but be very prepared for long-winded narrative and a good bit of useless and outdated information about whales

Mine was a long one..about 250 pages. I guess it's my inherent tendency to rant
When i went to the Technical Chamber to be tested (after university you have to be examined by a 3 member commitee in order to acquire a licence as a civil engineer and be able to put your signature in projects - not sure how things are done in other countries, that's why i am clariffying this) the 3 member commitee asked for a copy of my dissertation to put in the library..hehe..that was one of the very few times i felt proud about myself

So good luck..even if it's gonna be a short one, it doesn't mean that it's not a difficult one. I am sure you have a lot of work ahead of you.

Hehe sounds interesting and challenging. Are you doing it on your own or with a classmate? Sounds like A LOT of work.

And good to see you excited..when i did my dissertation thingy i was excited too..the professor who was supervising it was a very interesting fellow. Somehow we always ended up discussing books and politics (mainly the soviet union ).
