Oh dear! I am currently a bit mad towards managers -- as our management decided that our company can well do without me. Me and 22 others -- the economic crisis, you know, and I hope it wasn't up to you to decide whom to keep and whom to fire.
bit late for an answer, I guess, but my clock runs rather slowly ... so, was that forum you administered (can you say so?) closed or did you give up the job?
Small world is right...we were a steel fabrication company. We primarily worked with Structural steel members, but we also did some stair and rail that required stainless. For the most part, it was my job to make sure that the right product was produced per the needs of the architectural and structural design. I may have to venture into a new area of work.
Hey, I attempted to paint the picture of the little house in the snow. I am just an amateur, so it is just OK. The shed doesn't look to bad, actually, but I haven't painted the fence yet. I think I need something for masking, and then I need to put shadows in so you can even tell there are little piles of snow on the fence posts. It may be a little beyond me right now. I put a large spruce tree in on the right-where it looks like an evergreen might be behind that post. It was the first time I've drawn/painted one and it actually turned out pretty good. Overall, the art world is not going to be clamoring for my services anytime soon, but I did enjoy myself. Your photography is fantastic!
That is actually what I had been doing (with several other hats to wear too). I am currently unemployed due to the fact that my company is going under. I'm trying to focus on getting a job in that area. I am one who 'thinks outside of the box". What kinds of products does your company produce?
Thanks, they can be very obtrusive and that is quite annoying. I had already reported some, but I hadn't thought of the trick with posting in the next best thread until you set an example
Good to hear from you and I understand about the work load. Take your time to catch up on your life.
Haven't dropped by for a while. Hope you are looking forward to enjoying a new year
Well, glad to see you back Claes. One always has the thought that something happened. Ah work. I've been off for 16 days and now tomorrow I go back.
Claes, If you are still out there my friend, then I wish you a merry Christmas and/or a happy holiday seaon. Gilliatt
