Tell us the origins of the name of a current or former cat, and something about the cat.
We had a cat named Jon Gee. He was called Ghanj most of the time. My son named him after the first man to be executed in the electric chair in Nevada. Ghanj was strictly anti-social and unapologetic about it. He did not like humans or other animals and would only barely tolerate being touched. He was very protective about his yard and until his old age lived outdoors. He would raid the neighborhood trash for corn cobs and bring them home. Unfriendly as he was, I loved and respected this cat as much or more than all his sycophant bretheren before and since. He did not hide from people and was never aggresive unless touched. I miss the old grouch.
