1. Off the Map 2. Labyrinth 3. Dogville Truth be told, none of the movies nominated so far gets my vote Any other suggestions?
I would like to nominate "Amelie"... Been meaning to watch this movie for such a long time.
Amelie is a good one, haven't seen it in a little while.
How about Mystic River?
Mystic River is another good one. If people don't mind, I have another suggestions, this one more serious. I'd really like to watch Paris je t'aime, it's a collection of 18 short films by different world class directors, each centered on a different arrondisement of Paris. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris,_je_t%27aime
Dodo, I know it's set in the 30's. I just found it quite disturbing at the end. I got rather lost after the chain stuff began as well. It is indeed an unusual suggestion and I have heard some people discussing the film on the movie thread in this forum. It just was not to my own taste particularly even though I did appreciate most of the acting. One watching was enough for me. Glad you like "Off the Map"...that was way better than I anticipated. Look forward to seeing it again.
oops, just realised this is page 2. My last post was answering one by Dodo on page 1. I see the nominations so far. Tomorrow I have to go to my library; so I will check out what films I think would make good nominations; also, what might be available for next week's viewing. The last two suggestions sound wonderful but I know my library does not have those so that prove to be impossible for me personally.
The nominations are: 1. Off the Map 2. Labyrinth 3. Dogville 4. Amelie 5. Mystic River 6. Paris Je t'aime Please vote for the movie you would like to watch by Monday 12th.
where do we vote?
In this thread, please. Please state the movie you would like to watch (there is no poll facility in this section, unfortunately).
