It was a silly quiz - like favorite rock group - they gave one only 3 choices. Some of the questions hardly applied to me but anyway, I did take the quiz the best I could and I came out younger than you, Virgil. You Act Like You Are 26 Years Old You are a twenty-something at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences. You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up. The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them.
Welcome Lady Wentworth! I love your avatar! We were discussing proms and HS earlier and I left out one of the best details about my prom. I only went to my Sr. prom and I was escorted by the boy who grew into the man who became my husband. We've been together since I was 15.
Well, Janine, in spirit you are younger than me. I'm an old geezer. I sit in a rocking chair with a sweater on in the summertime sipping warm milk listening to records (records, not CDs) of Mitch Miller. Every once in a while I'll get up, open the window and yell at the little brats playing under neath the window.

Hi everyone, age, time, experience, wisdom, I am in my forties; my children are all grown up and I do believe age is relative. My co-workers are older than I am, " Oh, Ada, I wish I could be your age!!!!! My children, the perfect gift for you "anti-wrinkle cream." (expensive and effective). I look in the mirror, oh, well girl just embrace it; use the cream, exercise, drink your wine. The best part, they do not ask for evidence of age when you buy it. Your actions, don't justify them. You earn the right to behave as you do (mistakes, struggle, sacrifices, disappointments, etc..). find joy in being alone, find joy in being with friends and family. Most of all, find joy in being alive.
Thanks, Psyche! Well, I am a little behind in the conversation, but I just want to say a few things to catch up. A) My brother had a manual typewriter. I never hurt myself with it, but I suppose it was because I was pretty young and my fingers were small enough to stay on each key perfectly. B) I can remember that there was a "special" class for computers for the older kids when I was in elementary school. Then the library got one, which I don't recall anyone in my class ever using. Then when I was in the 5th grade (it may have been 6th grade), we got one and we were allowed to sign up to use it. That way everyone got a turn with playing around with the thing. It wasn't that big of a deal to me, though, because we already had one at home. Anyway, middle school was when computers were used more. We had "Computer Class". That was basically a typing class. So instead of using typewriters, we used computers. C) I never went to a prom. I seriously couldn't care less. Life goes on. Or maybe, since this is supposedly a day that is "important" in a girl's life, that is why I am the geezerette that I am today. That certain something (the prom) is missing in my life, and I am just bitter because I never went to it. D) I would never go to a reunion. I never really liked who I went to school with, anyway. I will admit to the fact that it would bother me to find out that someone that I really didn't care for ended up more successful than I have. That would just depress me. So it is best that I don't participate in something like a reunion and find that information out. My mother was getting a bunch of invitations lately for whichever one it was this year. She found it so interesting that the "in" students were the ones on the committee (they usually are when she receives info for one). She has never gone to one. Well, since others took that quiz, I think that I will, too. You Act Like You Are 24 Years Old You are a twenty-something at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences. You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up. The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them. And, Virgil, there is nothing wrong with Mitch Miller. Although, I much prefer Vic Damone's "Tzena, Tzena, Tzena" over Miller's. Then again, I prefer everything that Vic Damone does over anyone else in the world.
Did anyone notice how the ages are getting lower with each quiz taken? hahaha
Lady W, I never used a computer in high school. I remember being amazed by Pong!
Let's see, I'm old enough to have used a manual typwriter in high school, an electric typwriter in my undergraduate years, and a word processor (sort of like a pre-computer) when I went to grad school. I wish I had a computer.
Pong. I almost forgot about Pong. That reminds me of our original Atari game system. I can still remember Donkey Kong, Burger Time, Pac-Man (I loved Pac-Man!) and the basketball game, among many others. Ah, those were the good ol' days of my childhood.
