I had this really delicious herbal tea at dinner - Honey Vanilla Camomile tea - Celestral Seasoning - I always love the artwork on their tea boxes, too. The tea is so good and very gentle on the tummy....soothing.
Nope janine I dont think so I assume its called lady grey because it sis a more delicate version of earl grey. Info from twinnings site :
Flavour: Lady Grey is a light, refreshing tea, pale gold in colour and infused with the flavours of orange, lemon and bergamot.
Occasion: Enjoy Lady Grey at any time of the day.
Brewing Instructions: Brew for 3-5 minutes. Drink black or with a little milk, or with a fresh slice of citrus fruit.
Country of Origin: China
Did you know? Lady Grey is unique to Twinings and its gentle citrus-like flavour makes it a lighter alternative to Earl Gr
I am so addicted to tea.
I made some caramel nut coffe this morning. Very good. Here this is what I had: http://www.gloriajeans.com/pc-137-2-...ffee-1-lb.aspx
I am not a big tea drinker unless it's iced tea, but I am having a love affair with coffee. When I get to work and have that first cup, I just know my day is all downhill from there.
Thanks for the information on Lady Grey tea, Nightshade. Gray/Grey is a family name of mine. I used to love Earl Grey but unfortunately it is off limits for me now. I have to stick with milder herbal teas, but I do like those so much.
I could really go for a latte right now. A plain hot cafe latte is my favorite coffee drink. I had a really good caramel macchiato the other day, too.
I think that my favorite tea would have to be the green tea with the rose in it. The aroma is gorgeous and is a very nice sip!
As for coffee, well there is only ONE taste that I go for, and that would be the luscious smoothness of a Tim Horton's mug!
kiz, what is a Tim Horton mug? I also never had tea with rose in yourself. Do you put the rose petals in yourself? I am not sure I could drink that. I might be allegic to rose petals. Candles with rose in them make me sneeze and actually most floral ones do but the vanilla and spices are ok with my nose. I am allergic to lavender and I love the smell. I even grow it and sometimes I do bring it in fresh for a floral arrangement. I took a shower with Lavender soap once and could not stop sneezing, though...maybe the steam made it worse. I bet the rose tea does smell good brewing.
Poor you, Janine, I was sorry to read of these allergies, I know how that goes. But anyhow, the green tea with rose is purchased this way from the tea shoppe, labelled "Sencha Kyoto Cherry Rose Green Tea", and it goes on to say "Simply stunning. A blend of high quality green tea with sweet cherry and morning rose flavor. A tea to remember." Wow, if that doesn't get me to brew some right away, nothing will, lol.
Tim Horton is the founder of a string of coffee shops that span across Canada, and is probably the most successful one at that. The coffee is to die for, never ever a bad cup. Smooth, aromatic, and just what the doc ordered, guaranteed! It is even served in large or small china mugs (or you can take it "to go", too).
