Unbelievably, I am now weaning myself from coffee; this is not easy, but necessary for some health issues; so I have been slowly cutting back - no headache so far. I will still drink Cappuchino occasionally, because it is actually low acid the way one brews it, and most likely will enjoy it even more so. I guess now I have to stick to my variety of herbal teas. I do enjoy those though. When I have time I will have to post some of the names of my favorites. I still love Ginsing tea.
Oh that`s too bad Janine , but since it`s for the sake of your health then it`s alright .. Take good care of yourself so that you get well as soon as possible. You know what ? You are so gonna enjoy the first cup of coffee you`ll drink after this break.
That is true...and I can always cheat when I do get better. I have been meaning to give it up for sometime now to see if it helped my symptoms. I had to give it up for two days once when preping for a test, but then I got a terrible headache. This time I was desperate to make the effort, so I drank a smaller cup each day. It was low acid coffee and yet it must have had some acid and did have caffeine, or some type of additive, because I do see a difference. Better to be healthy, right. But coffee is good for most people - all those great antioxidents!
JAnine Ladygrey is humm imagine an added orangy taste to earl grey..I guess is the closes thing, its a nice tea to drink when its quite warm as its very nice cold. its also a nice 'delicate' tea to have with cake. But for some reason I always want to drink it out of proper china tea cups rather than mugs...its that kind of taste.
Hi Night, and glad you could join our group. Thanks for the information. I agree - a tea with the classy name of 'Ladygrey' must be drank out of a beautiful English teacup. Tell me was Ladygrey tea named after Jane Grey who ruled England for only 9 days? I am curious, since I just viewed that film the other night - good film, by the way.
Oooh, I had coffee ice cream tonight. So delicious. Coffee ice cream is the best.
Yum...I love coffee ice-cream, Virgil. I have gone to this ice-cream stand not far my town and they have the best. I usually ask for a cone with half of each - vanilla and coffee. I am in seventh heaven then - tastes like cappuchino.
It's very cold tonight so I'm going to have this plum flavored white tea and cover up and enjoy the kids being in bed.
That sounds nice, motherhubbard, maybe read them a fairytale.
I had chai tea with breakfest this morning. Mmmm.
