You know, I have never had red tea. This is something I need to find and try!
As for peppermint tea, that truly has a soothing effect!
And to change it to coffee now -- I used to have a little GIF that had a cartoon guy sitting on a chair with intravenus contraptions that ran from his arm to a coffee pot perking ... Wished to heck that I could find where it is stored so I can post in here, lol (that may be me?)
I have had a headache all day. I just realized what happened. I did not get a cup of coffee this morning and i have been going through withdrawls. It just dawned on me as i was reading Kizzo's message below.
I have been through that withdrawal, Virgil. It is awful. I had to go for a test to the hospital; for prep could not have caffeine for a day prior. I had such a headache that morning and my BP was also sky-high. They said I would feel better later getting some coffee; immediately I did and the headache faded away. It calmed me down, also.
Janine, the Spelling Bee is great; Merriam-Webster has one in the games section. I love to play it although it's quite difficult for German speakers and I'm really happy when I finish the game.
Virgil, how could you possibly go to work without your morning coffee??? Couldn't happen to me, I'm quite positive about that.
And could anyone explain what they mean by 'red tea'? Is it rose-hip or fruit tea or is it an Indian or Chinese variety? Or is it Rooibos (South Africa)?
Well, Barbara, I don't usually make coffee in the morning when I go to work. I leave my house a little after 5:30 in the morning. So no time. If I am driving (I car pool so we take turns) I will usually stop at a store and pick up and sip it as I drive. I got out a little late this morning and needed to skip the store. But when I got to work I went for a cup and the machine was down. So I had to skip.
5:30? Every day? You have my sympathy. I hardly ever have to get up that early but if I do I turn the coffee-machine on before I have a shower, that takes only two minutes, and when I'm done, coffee is ready. But usually, my husband has to get up earlier than I do so coffee is ready when I go down to the kitchen. And at the weekends, he even brings a cup of coffee to my bed! I love that!
I love cappuccino, black, caffe latte, caffe machiato, .... ad infinitum.
Coffee is divine.
I LOVE BLACK COFFEE !!
by the way , can you plz tell me you guys can see my D-picture.
something wrong is going on with it.
Barbara - You're husband brings you coffee in bed? Now that is love.
This is funny; I think now the 'coffee lovers' are becoming dominent in this group and orginally it was a 'tea-lovers' group.
I agree with Virgil, Barbara - keep that man! It must be true love.
