Journey Of Love I released a Dove, Into the sky, it took my love, To the above, It dropped my love, from the moon, It should have floated like a balloon, But it fell and fell and fell, until it went Straight to well, you know. So I sent a lizard, Across the sand it slithered, It made it almost there, But a man didn't care, He ate it for breakfast. I was so feed up, So I went my self. The journey was ruff, The hills went up and down, Even around. It thundered, haled, and rained, But that didnt stop me, I still came. But now Im here, My dear, And forever I will be yours And you will be mine. The only one I will ever love, The only one for me, The one I will never forget, The Handsome one Jesse (R.I.P) ||~|| Alexa Campbell ||~||
Whenever I needed someone to talk to You were always there. My eyes filled with tears, my heart filled with pain, and You were always there. There was no time when I had doubt to come to you because You were always there. I could see in your eyes you wanted to help, and that you really cared. Whenever I was down and blue You were always there. No matter my problems, are what was wrong You were always there. Whenever I felt like nothing matters You were always there. Now your gone, and I don't know what to do I close my eyes and think of you, and how You were always there. It's hard to look at the pictures, and get memories of you Can you hear me now At night I pray, and I speak to you I guess you were right when you told me no matter how far you were You would always be there. I know one day I'll see you again, but till then I have to say goodbye Even though it hurts to hear your name, and speak of you One thing I will always say is You were always there.
Please Leave a personnal poem, even if it is a bad one, I would loove to hear it.
Lexy, your poems are really lovely. I like the way Journey of Love ends, it's a good effect. You write geniunely and that's what makes it all so precious.
aww thanks
I am that I am I misspoke before with the daggers in my eyes never could broker a compromise Now they wish to see me caged But I have never been so easily contained I know how to feel my way around the rage blood consumed My lips shape vile in my steel frame While they try to break me down I never gave an inch of ground Now they try to wrap me in chains but I have fire to temper their steel even as my flesh sears I walk free Unbound I break through their front lines in full fury without wearing their shame Like a phoenix always reborn in the fire I still live in spite of them So stand down out of my way because like it or not I keep coming on strong.
That is an amazing poem, its so full of emotion, and feeling. I wish i had that kind of potential.
You meant So much You meant so much to all of us You were special and that's no lie You brightened up the darkest day And the cloudiest sky Your smile alone warmed hearts Your laugh was like music to hear I would give absolutely anything To have you well and standing near Not a second passes When you're not on our minds Your love we will never forget The hurt will ease in time Many tears I have seen and cried They have all poured out like rain I know that you are happy now And no longer in any pain.
Thank you, Lovely poem, it captures both the saddness as well as the hope and the good memories, deeply emotional with some lovely imagery.
You both have great emotion. Wow!
