We will be watching The African Queen, picked by Janine, this weekend (29/01/11 at 23.00 London time). The counter: http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/...0&sec=0&p0=136 Please let us know if you can make it!
I love the movie...good choice of the ones I suggested to you, Scher. I just saw it; but that is no matter - it's that good! Repeated viewings are a must. Must get to my library to check it out. They just got it recently. Suddenly they are getting a lot of old classics. I love that!
I should be able to (I have Netflix streaming), but what time would it be for the Central time zone in the states, anyone? Thanks, and looking forward to it. This is one of my favorite movies.
qim, one of mine, too. On the time wait for Scher to answer. I am not sure what she has in mind. I babysit night before and I hope I can get the film. I could watch it a zillion times...it's so funny and heartwarming! Glad you like it too.
Hello, Qimi and Janine! If you check the countdown clock, it tells you how manys days/hours left till the viewing, regardless of your timezone/location: http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/...0&sec=0&p0=136
Grr, I have to work Ah well, I guess I'll have to wait for the next one.
You can always watch the movie some other time and post your comments later on, Faith. Got my copy today; I'm good to go.
I can't get the copy from my library but I found a site which shows the highlights - since I saw it just recently and have seen it many times before I can easily comment when everyone is done viewing it. Enjoy, it's a fun movie and it's very touching as well.
OK, I looked at it, and pardon me for being an idiot-does that mean we're watching the movie at 11 p.m. Saturday night? Which is fine; I'm just checking on the time. Thanks!
Nope, it will be 5:00 pm US Central Standard Time http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc
