day in a life

It's almost noon and me and my boy are still in our pajamas. I love vacation time and doing what ever I want to, but I am looking forward to going back to school. I am drinking my black cup and listening to the boy playing in his room as I write. It hardly gets better than this.

My brother is going through the weirdest brake up ever. I don't understand it really. They still live together but say they are broken up but she doesn't want to leave him and I am just confused. She cheated on him and she is a bit crazy, OK a lot crazy but he is crazy about her so he can't seem to cut her out of his life. Oh relationships are odd!

I started Anna Karenina yesterday and I enjoy it so far. I plan on finishing it before school starts.

We went to see Ice age yesterday, it was a lot of fun. The cinema is in a mall so we started by walking around and getting matching Batman t-shirts. My friend said I should enjoy the time he wants to wear the same kind of clothes as me cause it won't last... We also have matching Superman t-shirts, very cool. Anyway the store that has the t-shirts also has a lot of stuff, most of it kinda odd. My son saw a Jesus action figure and said 'oh nice, Obi Wan Kenobi!' my answer was'No that's Jesus', yeah, my brother was with us and he said this shows how I raise the kid.... The guy at the store laughed so hard, and me too.

'nice' is the boys favorite word these days, he says it in English. Everything is nice.

I am going to buy a new bookcase today I think, I have a bunch of books on my desk that need a good place to sit. I am gonna buy more books when school starts so I need the bookcase, my only problem is I don't really have room for more... gotta figure that one out cause there will always be more books.

It's funny my son is playing with Sisko, the younger dog and Spock gets annoyed with all the running and the laughter. He wants peace and quiet so he can sleep without interruptions. I love the fact that they can play together and they do all day long. It must be great to have a dog to play with when your growing up. That was my dream as a kid and now I can do that for my boy. To think that when my ex dumped the dog on me after a year I was gonna give him up. Having two dogs is kinda hard, at times but it's so great too. I can't imagine not having Sisko now. Spock is almost eleven years old and he won't be here forever so I am glad I have Sisko. I just wish I had someone that wants to dogsit for me every now and then cause I can't really go anywhere. It was so hard to find people to have them when I was at a wedding and had to sleep there. Sisko was with my ex at his parents house and his dad hates the dog so I can't do that again, even though their dog does his number ones and twos inside and even in my ex's bed (he was not happy when he told me about that) they still think my dog is bad, he's hairy very very hairy but everything else about him is great.

Anyway, I'm gonna go read 'The little prince' for my boy, he has asked me about three times since I started writing here.
