One of those nights?

Yep. I believe so. I'm sitting here listening to emo music, begging my inspiration to spark for just a second. I've got nothing. I want to write something, anything. I need to write. Its one of those urgent things, like needing to pee. There isn't the option not to. Sometimes I try Hemmingway's method- "Write the truest sentence you know."
Okay.
"I really hate electricity, especially automotive electricity and I wish I could write something to get my brain out of the realm of distributors, ignition coils, ECM/PCM's, pickup coils, COP type ignition types, distributorless ignition types, OBD scanners, PICO scanners, oscilloscopes, Alldata, VOM's, primary and secondary systems and fourteen different types of scanners."
. . . well, there it is. I wrote the truest sentence, at least at this moment in time.
I guess I could talk about everything in that sentence, but that would completely void the point of writing.
I guess it's not all that bad. My truck hasn't given me much trouble in the last few days, and the weather has been just peachy. I only felt one hurricane blast hit the house today! I spent about twenty minutes chasing wasps around with a can of sticky (spray adhesive) and spraying them. That was fun. I burned off a little bit of firewood that has been accumulating about my outside fireplace. It is in fact an inside fireplace that sits out in the corral. I burned the heck out of myself throwing weeds in the fire that I hacked down with a shovel last month. I also found out that if I crank up a particular song I like on my parents' insane sound system, the subwoofer will start vibrating things off the shelves.
That was the extent of my day, not discussing the 5 hours of Ignition Systems H.W I started at nine this morning.
You just wasted your valuable time to read this perfectly worthless blog. Have a nice day!

Skib -- the best sentence in this blog was, as you noted, the truest: "I really hate electricity, especially automotive electricity and I wish I could write something to get my brain out of the realm of distributors, ignition coils, ECM/PCM's, pickup coils, COP type ignition types, distributorless ignition types, OBD scanners, PICO scanners, oscilloscopes, Alldata, VOM's, primary and secondary systems and fourteen different types of scanners."

Vivid, real, personal: a simple list.

I liked the blog, skib. WHy so many scanners? Seems like with all that noise it would be hard to make any moves on the girls

Comedian- That was only a small part of the jumble of mish-mash running around in my skull that night!

motherhubbard- Thank you! Oh, it was a part of my automotive class Ignition Systems Diagnosis and Repair. There are scanners for every little thing . . . and that's as far as I'll go with that. I could rave all day about how incredibly difficult that class was!
Maybe that is the problem . . . the music is too loud. Hmm.

No such thing as a worthless blog and my time hasn;t been valuable for a very long time. I found your blog intriguing though I confess seeing Virgil and The Comedian comment on it got me to look as I vlaue Virgil's insights greatly and The Comedian is growing on me by leaps and bounds. Write from the heart--write what you know--write TRUE. Only advice I know.
