Live life in imagination

Rate this Entry
Being independent,
When you were thousands of miles away,

I picked up my books and pen again,
And return to innocence.

Live my life in imagination,
With the golden sunshine and golden barley,
With white lilies in my hand,
With my eye insight towards the far,
With my long hair going with the wind.

And wild child,
With dream as wing,
Stride firmly again.

You have a beautiful way of expressing your ideas, and a unique style. There's hope, confidence and independance in this. I'm glad you continue to write more, you'll keep improving.

I've got some comments to improve your language use though.
First of all, 'And return to innocence' should probably be 'And returned to innocence' , since the line before is past tense.
    'Live', could be, 'living'
'With white lily' perhaps could be 'with a white lily' or 'with white lillies'
'With my eye insight in the far,' you could think about how to change to make it clearer, as with 'with my long hair go with the wind'. One suggestion could be 'going with the wind' or even 'streaming in the wind'.

There is no verb in the last stanza. Maybe 'move' or 'stride'.

Just trying to help. Your writing is great, I just want to help you express what you want to say, as much as I can, without changing what you want to write.

    Excellent!
