Diary Of A Shadow

Hermit Recluse.

Rate this Entry
I got out of the army about a month ago and ever since I've been home it's been pretty much a struggle just to survive.

( I was only in the army for three months.)

I was discharged early due to medical problems.
(Which I have got over.)

( I completed half the course of basic training but it looks like I will be no soldier for hire anymore.)

Can't say I'm really angry to get out because I went through alot of physical and mental torture during training that I wish to never get into again. ( Many of those situations that were condoned by the army I'm sure was illegal and I wasn't the only one to go through them either.)

I got a new job which I hate everyday but I put up with and it is my hope to become a librarian by going to college.

Until then I am the hermit recluse walking amongst the city lonely in isolation struggling just to keep my house from being taken away by the state.

How long were you in the Army? You may need a period of adjustment.

    Welcome fellow recluse

Though I cannot personaly relate to what you are going through my deerly beloved is a vetren from the Iraq war, and in addition ot surrffering from physcial injuries that will permantatley affect his life, he now has PTSD which is a daily struggle for him. So I am close to the issues and have much sympathty reguardless of my personal feelings about the war itself.

Hang in there, Mr.Hyde -- you still have lots of spunk and determination to take on your writing project (the book you wish to publish). Just keep plugging on with that job -- it is merely a stepping stone to your real dreams.
