Starting the Trip Right

What a way to start my trip. I have everything ready and most of it packed. I went shopping yesterday and got everything I needed that I was low on or didn’t have. I got my car cleaned out and ready for an oil change. What I don’t have is my bank debit card and my driver’s license. I’ve lost them somewhere while shopping. At least that’s where I think I lost it. The last time I remember having it was when I was going into Penny’s and I put it in my coat pocket so I wouldn’t have to carry my purse in while trying on shoes. I made sure that my pocket was zipped so it wouldn’t fall out. I then stopped in at Goody’s to buy some trouser socks. I don’t remember if I took my money to pay for the socks out of my jeans pocket or the wallet. After I got home, I carried everything into the house then went to my car to get all the trash I had collected from driving back and forth to work for a week. So now I have to drive to Oklahoma without driver’s license. I know that I will get stopped. I don’t usually get stopped by a law officer, but if I don’t have my D.L., I’ll get stopped for sure. And the wallet had the money I have saved to go to the casino on. Now I won’t be able to go because I won’t have my debit card to gamble with Dan’s money.
It has rain and thunder-stormed all night here. Weather predictions are for more storms and rain all the way to Tulsa. So, I’ll be headed out toward Tulsa, Ok in a couple of hours with no driver’s license and no identification, no bank card, and no gambling money. I don’t know if I can check into my room without a picture I.D. Oh well, my luck seems to be holding. I bet it’s going to be a wonderful 8 weeks!
