Reflections on the puddle of life

Blog Poetry

Rate this Entry
I had a thought. People write such great and interesting stuff in their blogs here on Lit-net I wondered if it would be possible to write a poem by taking lines from various blogs. I've picked those which were on the front page when I selected the lines, and I used the most current entry in each blog. I've added one 'and' to the lines but nothing else. Bear in mind that some of the lines are cut, and slightly out of context, if you want to know the true context then get out there and read some blogs!

This is the result, a bit random, but fun!

Blog poetry

I have a terrible time giving
since the computer happens.
Apparently someone pressed the wrong button and

my heart captured everything like a film recorder.
The last movie was garbage,
a real self-illusion
there may be others but if so I've forgotten.

Tell me how great I am.

He fails to answer the first question;
your eyes remain locked to the floor
the traditional summer job
sat on the chain link fence
acting like a boy instead of a slug.

So, the lines were taken from:
1. Ampoule
2. Bakiryu
3. Aimus Sage
4. Farnoosh
5. Pendragon
6. Dark Muse
7. Me!
8. Nossa
9. Dori
10. Lady W
11. Granny5
12. Shurtugal
13. Motherhubbard

Thanks guys, I hope you don't mind

    very very cool.
In a way I do this with my online Scrabble games. While I'm sitting there looking for my attack word, har har, I make up sentences with the words already there. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes sexy, sometimes actually profound..not that sexy can't be profound.
