Nothing to say today except for one interesting thing.
We have a family of squirrels living in our garden and they're rather partial to monkey nuts. They're always out in the garden, scurrying around and burying them. A while ago, we found one in the corner of our doormat (The cat liked scratching it every time he came in the front door) so there is a kind of gap in that corner. A while later the nut was gone. Tonight, as mum was putting out the rubbish, she stepped on another, but this one was hidden in the middle of the mat. We were worried she'd broken it so we put in another one only to rind that the first one was fine
.
I've felt a bit depressed today. I always do when my school holidays come to an end. When I go back to school I'll have my business exam I haven't revised for, a heap of IT work to back date and boring lessons with a Wuthering Heights exam looming and The Wife of Bath to contend with.
Oh well. At least it's better than last new year when the cat was sick (Or had a little "accident" I can't remember which; I remember one was on the first and the other was on the second). Well, that won't be happening this year, because he....
....Died over the summer. He'd have been 14 this year. His name was Henry and I had him since he was a kitten. It still hurts, which is why I haven't mentioned him until now.. I'd rather not talk about him now. It still upsets me.
I'd hoped not to have to go into the subject of Henry so soon but it just came up, and it's out now.
Well, I'll have school the day after tomorrow, so I need to get off of the computer. I think I'll do some of my embroidery.
Bluebiird out.
